Mays is one classy dude. (http://www.denverbroncos.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Stepping-Up-for-a-Teammate/ac000303-2390-42b2-a731-0c6551a23fb8)

Very cool gesture by Mays and the other DL.

Yep. I said this in another thread. I am becoming a big fan of Joe Mays. He is a really positive family guy, who is humble, takes things to heart, and works hard to correct them. He is the Defensive leader, and the whole Defense will have to rally around him to succeed.

Mays is a guy you can feel proud to root for. :sunshine:

Great story, I hope Garland is talented enough to make the team and provide solid depth on the defensive line.

Does anyone know if Garland is eligible for the practice squad? If he doesn't crack the 53, I really hope he can stay on and try to improve enough to make the roster eventually.

Also, Joe Mays is a badass. I really hope he's improved his play from last year as he's just an easy human being to cheer for.

I love stories like this...it beats the ones that make the news for arrests and other crap. And Garland is now an LT in the CO ANG.

Looks like we know why Mays got that deal, and was pursued by other teams. He is turning into a good leader.
