All,

I remember long back there was discussion about buying jerseys for a lower price from some online stores. I went searching for those threads, but most of them are gone now.

does anyone know of a online store from where i can buy jerseys. I am looking for Von Miller and Peyton Manning

Ask andre. He was the foreigner jrsey pusher. Once you type the word jersey at the mane, he is alerted and comes by in his English as a secondary language posts and pushes his unnamed site.

huh??
08-05-2012, 03:10 PM
It's likely to be a lot tougher to find any of those retailers now. I think one of the more recent threads about buying cheap jerseys referenced a huge effort by the feds to shut down the non-licensed sites.

i would still try ebay, not as cheap as they used to be, but still cheaper then retail. I just bought one on ebay for $70

You can get a half price KM Jersey from the team store/NFL.com.

Just click on the Clearance bin link.

Yeah, I would say just go for the real deal.

I'd rather pay $100 dollars and know that at least some of my money is staying in country, and knowing I'm getting a reliable product than pay $40 on some Chinese knockoff with crappy stitching and the wrong letter font.

Not to get too preachy...

If you're patriotic and stuff like that, mind this: even a China or Philippines - made Nike jersey is going to see less capital flight than you might think... you're paying $100 for a replica... I think thats something like 15% licensing, 30-40% retail markup, 20-30% marketing, 20-30% overhead and 10% production/transportation.

Those numbers are just guesses.... but look at it this way: from Nike, you're getting about 11% capital flight... a knockoff jersey is 100%.

Intellectual property is a commons issue that is a huge deal right now in international relations.

I'm not a hardass about always buying American, in fact I support equilibration theory in trade... and thusly I support free trade... I'm just saying if you support your country, you should respect intellectual property licensing.

You can get an authentic Reebok jersey customized for $150 at NFL.com. Yeah it's "last years" but not a bad price for being both the authentic one and customized one.

For those of you in Denver, I was at the flea market and there were Manning jerseys for sale everywhere. Most were lousy quality (mesh and the new fabric material combined) but there was one tent towards the middle of the complex that had very good quality knock offs (made entirely of the new material, no mesh). They wanted $40 for them and I saw manning and champ versions. Seemed like the way to go over buying online and roiling the dice.

I gave in and got a Von jersey today...the new, even this replica, are much better than the Reebok version. I'm a little worried that i got a Von jersey. My last 4 jerseys have been Cutler, Marshall, Moreno and Tebow. I feel like there is a curse for the players jersey i buy.

For what it's worth, in today's Denver area mailings was a bunch of ads and the McDonalds ad had two key chain tags that give the holder 30% off a jersey on Mondays at the team store. Also gives a free big Mac or egg mcmuffin the day after a win (with drink purchase) through the season. Here's to hoping I get really fat and keep up sizing jerseys every Monday!

The last few Jerseys I have bought have all ended up traded
to other teams, or retired within a year of getting them.

Cutler.. team store ... traded ......check.

Sheffler ....team store... traded..... check

Marshall ...team store...traded....check!

Smith ( 80) .....team store.... check ( retired)

and last year.....Tebow.....(AUTHENTIC).....traded.....Chec k!

( Note: this was a gift that I really didn't want because of
the previous history, but accepted reluctantly ( and insisted
on paying for)).

I am not buying any more jerseys, because I seem to have
the knack of picking players that demand trades the next off season
or generally are moved for other reasons ( GM attitude and such).

Now you know....blame me for the loss of all the above players. (never mind their attitudes and results)

I use superjerseystock.com. I ordered a couple dozen of the new Nike jerseys for my friends and I, and the quality varied. Some were fantastic with the new style patches and the plastic whatever it is around the collar of the jersey. Others still used the old style NFL patches. Those two areas of the jersey are going to be the easiest way to spot a fake, besides the not-so-obvious stitching issues with the Reebok fakes.

I am actually going to be putting in another order and start selling them on ebay, but I'm not going to sell anything I deem as a easily spotted fake.

yeah. when i ordered last year from weike i paid a flat 30 bucks. 30 bucks for 1 or 9 jerseys. if you bought more than 10 it was free.
this year i paid 30 for shipping and then when i checked out there was a 20 dollar insurance fee i was not expecting. i wasn't real happy at the time, but it avergages out 5 bucks for each of the jerseys i ordered. they're still dirt cheap at 30 bucks a shirt.

My theory on Jerseys is buy one of a player who has meant something to the franchise and not a one two year guy. Don't be afraid to spend some cash as you will get a lot of wear out of one. 150 bucks for a 10 plus year investment is a lot better than the 50 dollar T shirts that are floating around now.

I could not tell the difference from the NFL Authentics. I would definitely by from efeelsports again. The cost was $35 including shipping. I paid through Paypal. 4 jersey's now total but beware when you buy a old school player. I got an Elway that was a Mitchell and Ness style throwback (though not listed as such) and the lettering for the name is very thick on the back. Otherwise its top quality. So I will just sell it instead. They go for $70 on ebay which is 2x what I paid.

exactly my point...customer service is horrid and they will not get another dime from me. I am not ordering a new jersey when the one they sent me was poorly done. The sunk cost of shipping is well worth the customers satisfaction. it seems the custom service of weiketrade.hk is not too bad now

Doesn't matter. They lost $1,000's off not sending me a replacement jersey.

my final comment on this. I did, they said they couldn't do that and I'd get a credit on my next order. If am unhappy with my last order and it would not be resolved without me spending more money, why on earth would I do that?
