Didn't he lose a son just a couple years ago?

Is this the same son who was having problems a few years ago?

Yes, I am pretty sure it is the same son who was having drug problems a couple years ago, which leads one to think his problems were not behind him, but who knows.

Wow..no matter how bad one thinks their life is, there's always someone having to deal with more trouble, pain and agony.

Awful tragedy for the Reid family.

huh??

That's really sad. The article made it sound like he had been getting his life back together. It could've been a relapse, or maybe his drug-filled past did some irreversible damage leading to this. It could also be related to some other medical issue. As an example, poorly managed diabetes in a person of any age will have very bad consequences.

It's just a bummer for Reid and the entire Eagles organization. It's akin to what happened to Tony Dungy, very sad.

It's got to be terrible to see one of your kids die before you do.

Awful. Flat out awful. My heart breaks for Andy Reid and his family. Nothing in this world can prepare you for the tragedy of losing a Child. Pray for his family to have courage and strength as they deal with this horrible trial.

Terrible. As a father of two little boys, you hold all the hope in your world when you pick them up for the first time and that never leaves a father. To see that become this is just awful to imagine. Thoughts and prayers with the Reid family during this difficult time.

Both sons had trouble with drugs. Just a terrible tragedy, unnatural to bury your child. My heart goes out to the Reid family.

I knew Britt Reid, went to school with him at ASU. Kid was nuts, out of control. Got in a massive fight at one of my parties. Didn't know Garrett. You have to feel for coach Reid.

I just rocked my screaming baby girl into comfort, and then sleep. I hope I never have to experience the pain of losing either of my kids. The amount of energy you put into them is endless, and watching them grow up is the reward you get. How sad to be robbed of that reward. My heart goes out to the Reid family.

This is beyond awful. No parent should ever experience such tragedy, and Andy Reid has had to endure this twice. My heart goes out to Andy Reid and his family. Terrible.
