Question for the parents of the Mane -

One of my sisters is having her first baby in the next six-eight weeks!!!! (i already have Bronco's gear picked out).

She and her hubby are getting everything ready in the nursery, but they're looking around for an "armchair". Apparently a lot of time is spent sitting with the baby at first, so they're looking for a glider/rocker type that's pretty comfortable. More like a Lazyboy (without the reclining part) than a wooden chair. Do you all have any good recommendations on where to shop for them locally? Any reviews would be helpful, as they're first timers!

Thanks Everybody!

My wife works for this company with their home offices based here in Denver (as well as a store in Cherry Creek), Plus they come up as a banner ad on the mane here every so often so help TJ out as well

I've got a couple sets of old mile high chairs! Would look great but probably not so comfortable.

That looks uber comfy, I'm sending the link to her now! Thanks Mr. Bean! Any problems with the build quality?

Holy balls that's quite the array of chairs!!!!! I'll be passing that link along as well. Does your wife get any kind of commission? Should I pass her name along in case my sis wants to buy one from there?

We just used the rocker my grandmother bought my parents when I was 1st born.

The 1st of my kids to have a baby gets it.

huh??

I've "road tested" a number of those glide rockers in Babies R Us over the past several years. We've never had the space to put one anywhere, but I think they'd be fantastic!

Make sure kids head can't fit through the rocker slats then get stuck. Seriously the law firm I work defended a case on this subject.

That is a beautiful tradition and much more meaningful that most people would think.

We used an exercise ball instead of a rocker worked well.

huh??

Yeah. There's some extra symbolism going on with that gesture.

Nope. Survived both my little beans and my sister's two.

My wife and I got a glider for ours, sans the ottoman. It is a great choice.
