View Full Version : Mike Adams : Manning Almost ‘Isn’t Human’

Bronco Rob

Adams said he and Bailey were impressed on many occasions during minicamp as they lined up to defend against passes by Manning, a four-time NFL MVP. At one point Adams and Bailey were both covering Eric Decker and they came off the field shaking their heads about how perfectly Manning’s pass came in to the receiver.

“I’m looking at Champ and I’m like ‘What happened?’ ” Adams said.

Manning’s work ethic and intensity level at practice definitely has had an effect on everyone, Adams said.

“Everyone has to step their game up. It boosts everybody’s confidence and playing level because his mindset — the way he thinks and the way he sees the game — it’s different. He’s not human … I don’t think he’s human,” Adams said.

Did they mention the duct tape holding his neck together? This can't be correct.

How much do you guys want to see manning play in the preseason? More time would help getting back to game speed but also a higher risk of injury. Tough games at the start of the year to have to get up to game speed after a year off

Acquiring Manning has the looks of making the other players look at themselves and see that they are prepared to play and that is always a great thing. The Broncos over the last several years had too many games where they looked disinterested and flat, especially towards the end of the season. Manning isn't still playing just for the money, so the younger guys especially, should take a long look at what he's doing.

Duck tape? Did they get rid of the bailing wire?

I think he probably just needs a half of a preseason game to get back to game speed...

I think Manning will play preseason they way most starting QB do. A few series in the 1st game, a full quarter in 2nd game, full half of the 3rd game with maybe an opening series after half, almost none in the last game.

Have said this since he was in Indy.

The man isn't human. I'm convinced he's a robot. Just took a year to get his hard drive updated.

No.

Seriously.

I've always said Manning is a robot too...you might fool him for a quarter or two, but then somehow he computes everything and then your toast....I seriously used to hate how he could do that, and now, I am super pumped!!

Have you seen Peyton's forehead? He's closer to Cro-Magnon or Neanderthal. Barely human is right. But with a laser rocket arm.

We all know Manning is super accurate and knows how to read defenses but can he run a QB draw on 3rd and 16 and convert?

In "Tebow pass" you mean that Tebow would stuff the ball between his butt cheeks, bend over, and fart in the general direction of a WR?

still amazed that we got alleged Bronco fans that despise looking at the Broncos depth chart and seeing QB- Peyton Manning

Many of you have stated this already, but I have to reiterate: I am SOOOOOOO ****ING GLAD that he's on my team now

I always liked him for being a good guy and an awesome QB, but hated his 'aw, shucks' ass when he torched the Broncos... repeatedly.... consistently..... for wins.

Just think guys - other schmucks get to go on hatin' on the forehead, but we get to root for him!

Maybe it's actually bolts and the duct tape just hides the bolts. That would explain the "not human" part. Although, in today's PC world, it should probably be "differently attached human" or something along those lines.
