A North Tulsa woman is arrested after Tulsa Police find her infant in a car seat. The car seat was found face down on a street about a mile away from the woman's home.
Tulsa Police say they were called to a home on West 48th Street North near North Elwood Avenue around 9:30pm Saturday. A couple, Clyde Jackson and Myia Cole, told police their child was missing. According to the police report, Jackson and Cole were extremely intoxicated when officers arrived.
Officers found a witness who said she picked up Cole near East 56th Street North and North Frankfort Avenue. Officers went back with the witness and saw a car seat lying face down on Frankfort Avenue. The found the child inside the car seat.
Myia Cole was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail. She has been booked on one count of child endangerment. Cole is being held on a $25,000 bond.
