1. Peyton Manning, quarterback, Denver: Welcome to the division, Mr. Manning.

4. Von Miller, linebacker, Denver: The AFC West has something very special in its midst.

8. Champ Bailey, cornerback, Denver: The first-ballot Hall of Famer is still playing at a high level

14. Elvis Dumervil, defensive lineman, Denver: He is part of a dangerous pass-rush tandem with Miller.

17. Ryan Clady, tackle, Denver: Playing with Manning should re-energize Clady’s game.

20. Willis McGahee, running back, Denver: McGahee may not be as good as he was in 2011, but he doesn't have to be.

24. D.J. Williams, linebacker, Denver: He had his issues, but he can play the game.

28. Chris Kuper, guard, Denver: He is a scout favorite and a true tough guy.

33. Tracy Porter, cornerback, Denver: The Broncos are doing back flips about this signing.

38. Demaryius Thomas, receiver, Denver: I could see him being in the top 20 on this list next year.

Denvers' sitting pretty top QB, top 2 pass rusher, top CB, top LT, 3rd ranked pass rusher

You can't have the 20th ranked player playing QB and win anything

Cassell the 19th best player in the division? What a joke - he isn't even close to the top 40.

3 players from IR last year and Gates, who doesn't have it anymore (by that I mean as he use to), are in the top 10.

When does he come out with his Top 10 Taco Bell's list? He might actually have the insight to do that. His football lists are awful.

True, but Denver has 10 players represented on that list. There are four teams in the division. 4/40 = 10, which means that they're all about evenly represented.

Not in ranking. Point was Denver had a top player at the cornerstone positions

QB,LT,CB,DE

Notice the young stud Knowshown wasn't listed? What's up with that.

I love the description
"19. Matt Cassel, quarterback, Kansas City: He's not great, but he can help his team win."

That's seriously the best you had to rank a guy 19th????
