“I’m very grateful for everything football gave me,”

Too bad he didn't give anything to Football.

I shall miss mocking the "Winless Wonder"

In five NFL seasons — all with the Chiefs — Croyle managed an 0-10 won-loss record

I wonder if Herm ever told Winless Wonder:

You have to play better to win the game.

Didn't they have Huard, Croyle, and Thigpen as QB's at one point? What a bunch of suck.

if Quinn can change his mindset to never being a starter, he can stick around for a few more years in this league as a career backup with ZERO wear and tear and a healthy bank account. not a bad gig for 10-12 years if you can get it.

Well if you are right we may end up regretting not trying to keep him. But I seriously doubt it.

Well don't feel too bad for Brodie... not when your wife at one time was considered one of the top 50 athlete wives.

Wasn't there a story a few years ago about his wife being pissed because he was at practice too long and forgot to pick her up from the mall, or was it he missed practice because he was at the mall with her.

see, that's the type of chick that can ruin a man's life. she's real cute, you hang around her and then wham! she turns into a monogamous Travis Henry.
next thing you know you spend so much time knocking her up that your life spirals out of control.

Quinn has the tools to be a good QB - smart, accurate, athletic. He poops the bed every chance he gets, though.
