Peyton Manning is old and his head is attached with a torn piece of dusty scotch tape. The Broncos have no talent anywhere on their team except for Champ Bailey who is 86 years old.

Peyton Manning alone will put this team over the top, despite coming off a severe injury where he didn't play for an entire year. The Broncos have upgraded talent at every position.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Peyton Manning is on target and there's plenty of zip on his throws at the Denver Broncos' first OTA workout.

Manning ran the offensive practice, lining up receivers, running backs and even fellow quarterbacks during the Broncos' workout Monday that marked the first time the media witnessed Manning throwing the ball since last year's training camp.

I cant believe people are even arguing about this. If his passes didnt look crisp, we'd be hearing about it. And while im sure Crazyhorse is on par with Jon Gruden and John Elway when it comes to QB evaluation, i'm gonna assume hesfine.

Just didnt see the zip. I saw a relaxed practice. I guess my interpretation of zip was wrong.

I think the most important thing is for the nerves in his neck to be healed so as to has proper function of his arm and hands and fingers, that is, is there any nerve damage that is hampering his ability to feel the ball, or have a range of motion in his arm? Those are the big issues I think with his over all recovery. If all that nerve stuff is 100% then his ability to throw the ball will be fine, albiet, he's a little older and maybe not as strong.

However, it looks like it's ok but until preseason games, we really won't see if he's got the arm back 100% IMHO.

In all fairness though, Manning has never had an Elway or Favre like arm. He always had an average arm, but had an insane work ethic and an incredible mind for football that made up for the lack of great athletic talent.

....****ing jets fans.

I want you to name a team that won the superbowl without making the playoffs first. This team has not finished better than 8 and 8 in the last 5 years....a reasonably sane person that wasn't butt hurt over a certain back-up/ST player being traded would think 7-8 consecutive 12 win seasons is pretty ****ing amazing regardless. especially when you figure out that the 2 seasons he did not play in his team barely won 3 games.

To put it in perspective for you the Broncos have only won 2 titles in over 50 years of existence.... and you want to blast a quarterback that's only won 1 in 14?

you need to buy you some preparation h for your butt hurt

I don't know what this thread is about but Kirk and the TOS is Epicly better than the tame and laconic Picard and TNG. They spent too much time in the Holodeck masterbating whereas Kirk was banging chicks and karate chopping bad guys!

Reunited with Peyton Manning, Jacob Tamme says No. 18 looks “Very Similar” to How he did Pre-Injury

May 22, 2012 – 10:30 am by Brad Gagnon

Jacob Tamme joined CJ and Kreckman on 102.3 The Ticket in Denver to talk about playing with Manning and how he looks now in comparison to how he looked before a neck injury cost him the 2011 season.

On Peyton Manning’s ability to take advantage of defenses:

“Having Peyton Manning making the calls is a pretty big advantage to begin with. No matter whether you’ve got four receivers or three tight ends and a running back or whatever you wanna put out there, that’s part of what makes him great is he knows what to do in any given situation and nobody’s gonna prepare harder. And that’s why I enjoy playing with him, and that’s what I think everybody will enjoy. It’s just a fun way to play, when you know you couldn’t have prepared any harder and you’re gonna go out there and give it everything you’ve got and let the chips fall where they may. So watching him direct an offense is fun and he certainly can help take advantage of those situations.”

On how Manning looks now in comparison to how he did in 2010:

“I’d say he’s very similar. Very comparable to how he’s been playing the last few years.”
