View Full Version : DeMarious Thomas 'Preparing for 'Best Year Yet'

“I’m excited, man,” Thomas said, smiling from ear to ear. “I’m just excited to get healed and work with the team and not sit here and look around – to actually be on the field doing stuff. This is my first year in the NFL being healthy. I’m feeling good, I’m in the right shape, good size. It’s just exciting and I’m looking forward to it.”

...Thomas took advantage of the opportunity to learn from an All-Pro receiver in Johnson, who along with Thomas is one of the bigger receivers in the NFL. “It was basically just coming off a press and how breaking down the end of your routes will help you because as big receivers, it’s different for us,” Thomas said of the advice he received from Johnson. “Just small little things and just basically to work hard—something good is going to happen if you keep working hard.”

4. Demaryius Thomas, Denver: I bet Thomas will be ranked at least No. 2 on this list next year. The sky is the limit.

Can't wait to see what he can accomplish with Manning throwing the ball

All of the physical tools and measureables are there. It's just a matter of staying healthy and learning the offense. He should put up some monster numbers if Manning can still play at a high level.

I'm looking forward to some juicy soundbites from Manning when Thomas drops the ball for the third time in the game.

Reggie Wayne 6'0 - 190 lbs
Marvin Harrison 6'0 - 175 lbs
Demaryius Thomas 6'3 - 230 lbs

I don't think Peyton has ever played with a receiver that is as physically gifted as Thomas. If he can stay healthy and cut down on the mental mistakes you're looking at 1,200 + and 10 touchdowns easily.

He led the NFL in receiving yards for the month of December with Tebow throwing him the ball. Imagine what he will accomplish with Manning spinning the pigskin.

DT will have more receiving yards and TDs but Decker is going to have more receptions.

this! i see DT having a elite year in TD's and yards but Decker snagging 100+ balls.

All kidding aside, hope he plays a full season at least.

Decker's actually going to be in the right spot when Manning throws. DT still runs sloppy routes and I hope that's what he's been working on this off season.

I just hope he can avoid those nagging injuries. He needs to take advantage of the oppurtunity to work with Peyton this summer and develop chemistry as Decker has been doing. That's very important. Thomas's ceiling is sky high, much higher than that of Decker, so hopefully he can reach it in this offensive system with this QB.

If D&D stay healthy (and Peyton) -- this offense is going to be lethal.

Remember all the horrendous memories we have of Roc Alexander and Co. getting torched by Manning and Friends?

My fellow fans, we will get to be on the other side of that coin.

Support this team, rock Mile High.

:

And Decker goes at about 6'3 220. So Manning has some big guys to throw too!

I like to call him The Alibi. Is that in poor taste?

Closed the page once I saw a rookie listed at #2 on that list. Dude has never even played a snap of big boy ball and he's already 2nd best in the AFC West? Ok, next.

I was ready to make a stern response, but then I realized (and hoped) you must be joking.

Uhhhh... that is not Floyd the rookie. Have you even bothered to pay attention to our opponents over the last 5 years? But anyway... DT still blows Sandginas Malcom Floyd (6 year vet) out of the water.

Yep, that's why I avoid reading off season articles. But I do have high hopes for him, well, mainly because of the quarterback throwing him the ball.
