Interesting the comparison of gas between today's livestock and the numbers put out by the dinosaurs, which is about 1 to 5.

Of course, Fox immediately mis-reported it as part of an extinction event for their own, inane political ends.

Either that, or since they are anti-science anyway, maybe they didn't have anybody on staff who could actually read a scientific paper?

Wait until the the global temperature rises enough that the Siberian permafrost begins to accelerate the release of its trapped methane gas, then we can test the dinosaur flatulence theory.

I'm sure Republicans will be all farts and giggles when that happens.

They'll just blame it on somebody else. It's all they know.

The GW articles just keep getting dumber and dumber. Scientists that believe man is not causing a big impact on GW warming are considered nonscientists and full of BS, while those that study cow and dinosaur farting are the real scientists. Like I said, idiots.

Something I found interesting in the version I read was that since the start of the industrial revolution, we've knocked methane from 200 million tons annually to 50-100 million tons annually. Now, if methane is 25 times worse than CO2 on the greenhouse scale and we were conservative, that means approximately 2500 million tons of CO2 is just maintaining the status quo. That means we can use half of the US CO2 as a credit to the methane we helped eliminate.

So, clearly, the problem here is China.
