You might remember the coach. In the 1983 Draft. The most quarterback Rich draft NFL history. With John Elway, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Ken O'Brien and Tony Eason who did he draft?

That pass at the 4:00 mark of the video was a missile.

I never realized Winder was missing that many teeth.

I wonder if anyone was calling for Kubiak after the 5th interception.

LOL

Great video!

What was always all over the field in late season/playoff games at the old Mile High?

One of the first bronco games I remember watching in 8th grade. Elway was booed all game and you notice him run straight to the locker room after the neal down. That was not a fun two weeks for john after losing to the raiders the week prior. The broncos finished 11-5 that year and became the first team in NFL history to win 11 games and not make the playoffs.

Thanks for the link!

Confetti. Fans use to toss it when the Broncos scored.

I was just thinking I miss the confetti. Do they no longer allow it in the new stadium or do people just not bring it?

That was '85, they would have played duh bears in the SB that year, I am kinda Ok with how it played out.

Edit
I was wrong, this is from 85 I thought we were swept by both Oak and KFC in 85.

The Broncos still got hosed. In the history of the NFL no team has ever won 11 games and not made the playoffs.

Didn't the Pats with Cassell win 11?

Correct ^

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_New_England_Patriots_season

"Despite finishing the regular season with an 11–5 record, the Patriots did not qualify for the playoffs—becoming the first 11-win team since the expansion to a 12-team playoff in 1990 to not make the playoffs, as well as only the second team (after the 1985 Denver Broncos) since the NFL expanded to a 16-game regular season in 1978."

My memory was bad in thread also.

I still thought Denver got screwed in '85 but if that was a year for it to happen I am glad it did then, living in Chicago I would have never heard the end of it.
