But the Supreme Court is going to likely rule against the Obama admin which doesn’t seem to respect the Supreme court or understand that a state can enforce a federal law, if it won’t. Recent polls have it about 50%/50% with Hispanics – and even higher with non-Hispanics.

Latinos who immigrated legally, or were born in the USA are far more likely to back tough immigration enforcement. They understand a lot of riff raff comes in illegally. Plus they are more likely to say I am an American. Many of these illegals want citzenship only to make life easier, get a drivers license, bank account, but they still see themselves as Mexicans, not Americans. We want to save citizenship for the people who dream of being Americans. Not the ones who dream of making some money then going back to Mexico. That is not the deal.

We don't want American citizens who are nationalized to Mexico. At the park by my house they play soccer with uniforms that have Mexican writing, they hang the Mexican flag over the back of their chairs. It bother me I won't lie. To tell you the truth it makes me want to kick them all the **** out. Either become American, learn the language, use the language, or go the **** home to Mexico.

If people want to make a buck, I guess I am ok with that -- it might help everyone. My only issue is the issue of legality, and legal votes.

How do polls, influence the perception of how people think, things "are"?

Those damn foreigners waving their damn foreign flags, un-American and treasonous! We should take cutdowns lead and deport them starting with these foreigners nationalized to these crazy foreign flags:

renunciation of allegiance to any foreign country to which the immigrant has had previous allegiances

This is something new immigrants have to swear to.

They can make a person feel isolated and can magicly change majority views into minority views by how the questions are posed.

El Minion if done in a historical context I don't have a problem with it. But many of the illegals working in the USA have no interest in swearing allegiance to the USA. That was my point. They display Mexican flag, and never display the stars and stripes, and they do it all the time.

If they are working legally and dont pledge to our flag I dont care -- anymore than I should feel obligated to pledge the Italian flag if a took a job there...

If they came in illegally and attempted to get all of the bennefits without going thru the proper channels, yes, I have a problem with them getting a job, I have a problem with the employer, and I have problem with them staying here.

I believe that there are those who want slave labor, and there are those who want votes -- Both situations are unacceptable.

Much of this could be solved however, if the government made a decision to process legal imigration more quickly -- but too many folks bennefit from taking two years to approve folks who want to do things by the book.

If somone wants to be an American, then there are standards that need to met that help to ensure our long-term viability, including swearing allegence.

No one gets to be an American citizen without making the oath. Now if a person is here on a work visa then of course they only have to follow our laws. We don't make people take the oath for work visas. Not many migrant workers have visas but I am all for a program that brings in labor for jobs Americans aren't taking.

Correct...except I wonder if their were less illegals, how many jobs would pay more to attract legal workers?
