With the Cowboys taking Claiborne, Mike Jenkins is the odd man out. John Clayton is speculating that he could be had for a 4th rounder. I'd do it, how about you?

A CB with a broken shoulder? pass.

I like Jenkins better than Assante Samuel. Jenkins can actually tackle.

I'd do it but not for a 4th...

I'd rather have Smauel. I have seen too much of Jenkins the last two years. I can not decide if he is just shot or if he never was really that good.

They'll take way less than a 4th. Samuel got a 7th didn't he? The Cowboys might find themselves just cutting Jenkins.

Jenkins is much younger than Samuel... And it really doesn't matter at this point as Samuel isn't available. The Cowboys won't cut him. He still has a year left on his contract. But they probably would like to get some value out of him before he becomes a free agent. I would do it except for the point about his play falling off. Down year or 2009 a lucky year where things went right?

The pokes have gone all in on their CB situation. They sign Brandon Flowers to a fatty contract and now they trade up for Claiborne.

PASS. Get a 3rd 2nd rounder and get Casey Hayward with one of them.

6th or 7th yes, higher than a 6th? hell no. you can get just as good value by drafting Robinson,Dennard or Janoris Jenkins.

Mike Jenkins is actually a hell of a player and a trooper too. Reminds me of Dre Bly in one respect--toughness. Throughout last year, Jenkins was dinged up but still gave it his all in coverage, sometimes with one bum arm.

When I saw that he was available this morning, I immediately thought that for the right price, he would be a worthy addition to the team. But it all hinges on the current health of his shoulder.
