Not enough value...these players going off the board right here are graded at the BOTTOM of immediate starters. A late 4th will struggle to make our team.

I'm hoping for Martin or some other IMPACT player. Konz would be an upgrade over Walton so that wouldn't be too bad since we just missed DeCastro.

If a late 4th struggles to make our team the FO dicked up their selection.

This team has very little real depth behind the first string. We could find some very worthwhile depth from the middle rounds if the FO drafts wisely.

Not really. Especially when it's so late in the round it might as well be a 5th rounder. Looking at the draft value chart we didn't do well at all. The 31st pick in the 3rd round would've been appropriate value, but we took a pick a full round later. EFX loses.

Everyone that has traded back has given up a lot of value. In fact if this year is the trend, due to the ease of absorbing the new contracts, the value chart will probably need to be addressed.

The value for the trade was crap, but if we get the same dude we wanted at 25, then it's a win for us.

Sure, but New England likely had leverage as they're the only team looking to trade about in this range. Everyone else has sat still since the mid-teens. So you take what you can get if the options at 25 aren't worth the selection.

To be honest though, I'd love to see us trade #31 now for a 2013 first and a 2012 2nd.

I think the trade that has had the biggest impact one what you've seen was the Cleveland moving up one spot by trading a 4th, 5th, and 6th. I don't have the point values memorized, but I really doubt a 4th, 5th and a 6th is equal to the difference of one spot in the top 5, if memory serves me correctly.

What stance? They did not get appropriate value in a trade. It's pretty much fact. On top of that they just helped one of the best teams in their conference get a perfect piece to fix one of their glaring weaknesses. EFX got hosed. Deal with it.

So if all of our players we were willing to take at #25 are gone and we know we will get them at #31,plus NE being the only team willing to trade uow did we get hosed?

It is either reach for a player we can get later or take an extra 4th round pick.

They passed on him so they could get the best interior lineman to grace a draft in a few years. It had nothing to do with Hightower.Yeah dude. Which means they felt a guard was better than a MLB.

Ask Ray Lewis what he thinks about that.

By the way....what MLB is better than Hightower as a prospect in the past several years?

I'm willing to bet the Pats wanted Hightower enough to give up more (there are quite a few 3-4 teams who likely would've taken him before the 31st pick), but EFX is a little fish swimming in the ocean with a shark and they got violated. Period.
