Chuck Schumer resorts to the prototypical response of the modern Democratic Party when faced with things like the constitutional process, states rights, and the reality of checks and balances--he throws a hissy fit and appoints himself Caesar:

Anticipating an unfavorable ruling, Sen. Charles E. Schumer, a New York Democrat who is a critic of the Arizona law, said Tuesday that if the court does uphold the state’s law, he will introduce legislation to overturn that decision and grant the federal government sole control on immigration matters.

Mr. Schumer’s legislation would also overturn a 2011 Supreme Court case that upheld a separate Arizona law that requires all businesses in the state to check employees’ legal status using E-Verify, the federal government’s electronic verification system.

Get that? He's gonna pass a law that the Supreme Court--the duly appointed arbiter of law in this country--is wrong. He's then going to pass a law that gravity is actually banned in America, that water will no longer be wet, and that he and he alone will determine whether Americans are worthy of living or instead will be shipped to concentration camps. What an ass.

Poster boy for term limits and poster boy for the modern Democratic Party.

No, he claims he's going to 'introduce legislation.'

Uhh The federal government is in charge of immigration. Since they are succeeding now better than they ever have, what is Arizona's issue?

Oh, that's right. Paranoia.
