Which do you think is the best way to promote economic growth in the U.S.? 1. Lower taxes on individuals and businesses, and pay for those tax cuts by spending on some government services and programs, or 2. Spend more on education and the nation’s infrastructure, and raise taxes on wealthy individuals and businesses to pay for that spending.

Lower taxes, cut spending: 37
Spend more, raise taxes: 56

Do you think the government should be doing more to help improve the financial situation of middle class Americans, should it be doing less, or do you think the government is doing the right amount to help improve the financial situation of middle class Americans?

Do more: 67
Do less: 15
Doing right amount: 14

In general, do you think the government should be doing more to help the housing market improve, should it be doing less, or is the government doing the right amount?

More: 52
Less: 16

Do you feel you pay more than your fair share in federal income taxes, less than your fair share, or is the amount you pay about right?
More than fair: 36
Less than fair: 2
About right: 58

What about upper-income Americans? Do you feel upper-income people pay more than their fair share in federal income taxes, less than their fair share, or is the amount they pay about right?

More than fair: 11
Less than fair: 57
About right: 24

If you are a business, don't you re-invest in your business with earnings you have made for better and possible much great ROI down the road, in order to grow your company?

Same thing is true with a country. Re-invest in your country, thrive and get great ROI and grow together as a nation.

This plan of just overtly attacking success and blaming everything on the rich could turn off the conservative independents.

Also the way they ask questions often determines the outcome. If you asked it like this it would be different.

One group of people currently pays almost 70% of the govt total tax revenue. Do you think that group should pay more?

One group pays nothing into income tax. Should they have to pay something to at least pay some of their share?

Obviously Obama can't campaign on his accomplishments, the economy, jobs, nothing, so he is playing the blame the rich card. What a friggin joke of a President he is.

Well, since that group controls 87% of the wealth in this country, yes, they still aren't paying their share.

One group pays nothing into income tax. Should they have to pay something to at least pay some of their share?

This group does pay taxes - payroll taxes, sales taxes, state taxes, other consumption taxes, property taxes (the few in this category that haven't lost their house). they just don't pay Federal Income Taxes. But yeah - screw the poor guy. I'm sure that'll fix everything.

Obviously Obama can't campaign on his accomplishments, the economy, jobs, nothing, so he is playing the blame the rich card. What a friggin joke of a President he is..

"blame the rich" is completely missing the point.

The point is: Only the rich can bail us out of this mess.

Sucks to be them, but there it is.

And like the man said in the movie: "Fair's got nothing to do with it."

Nope taking their money will just get wasted and diminish growth in the long run. Govt spend too much money. What don't people get about that?

and take in too little revenue.

The revenue will pick up as more and more people get to work in a growing economy.
