Broncos haven't kept recent picks

April, 16, 2012 Apr 167:10PM ETBy Bill Williamson | ESPN.com While I was away last week, NFC South blogger Pat Yasinskas offered an interesting take on draft pick retention.

Yasinskas reported Denver has kept just 48.6 percent of its picks since 2008, ranking them last in the league. Of the 37 draft picks Denver has selected in the past four drafts, 32 are still in the NFL. Yet, only 17 are in Denver.

The entire state of Missouri could use some sobering.

That's what happens when you go through coaching changes.

Yes, but when we finally got to pick in the top 10, we pulled a DROY. Too bad we didn't do as well as Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson.

And only 3 in the last 42 years.

Tim Tebow, a QB traded for a measly fourth and sixth, has more playoff wins than the Kansas City Queefs in the last 18 years.

That stat isn't a reflection of how the current Broncos organization treats the draft because Elway/Fox were here for only 1/4 of it.

Sobering stat Peyton's offenses score an average of about 27 ppg. Fox is something like 30-1 when his offense puts up 26 or more a game.

LOL

I love how this is positioned as "sobering." As though we've all forgotten that Josh McDaniels was our coach, and suddenly realize that our franchise has been in trouble because of him.

Thanks for yesterday's news. We've actually moved on and are looking at draft picks from last year and this year in our evaluations, not stuff since 2008.

Say what you want about statistics... but apparently your safety come as dumb as they can possibly make them.

But following the discovery of the New Orleans Saints (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/no/new-orleans-saints)' bounty scandal, Berry recently tweeted "Sometimes I sit [and] wonder if they had a bounty out on me ... oh well ... who cares. Either way [you] can't hold me down."

Is he really that dumb?! Yeah Eric... you were the key and most vital player for that game. Like really?! And offense head/knee hunting???
