We need an heir to the throne.

That dude is ridiculous. He just destroyed my Razorbacks. Easily my favorite player that we have a potential shot at drafting.

If he is there at 25, we need to pull the trigger. But I still would like to see Brockers or Worthy.

I would prefer Brockers... then get Tyrann Mattheau next year.

This isn't a thread for dissent, Smurf. Did you not clearly see, "Kirkpatrick or GTFO."

GTFO = GET THE FUDGE OUT.

lol wasnt it you who has been banging the "draft Jerel Worthy" drum?

yes Kirpatrick would be a great pick, although I doubt he makes to us

supposedly we are "high" on him as well

The only way we get Mattheau next year is if Manning doesn't play this year.

Yeah, because Worthy will be there at #25 and I happen to like him. Personally, if Kirkpatrick slips past #15 and someone takes him that's Grand Theft Cornerback. Kirkpatrick is by far the better player and value.

Now here's a player we can agree on.. But I doubt he's there @25.
Gilmore or Jenkins maybe...
At least your off Worthy and on to some real talent. Didn't Denver express interest in him before Porter and Goodman moves?

He was taken 9th in the Orange Mane Mock Draft. I'm not saying we're pros at this but I think it shows he's probably gonna be gone well before #25.

Im with Woody on this one, I agree with all the options at DT this year, and yet with few if any true 'no-brainer' studs that will be there at 25, I think its smarter to go with DT in the second and third and grab Dre if he is there or even Donta Hightower if he is around and the Steelers don't grab him.

We really do need to start grooming an heir apparent for Champ at shutdown corner, and what better way than to grab this kid with all his potential and solid skill set! Save the first round pick for a true skill player like Kirkpatrick of even Hightower that frequently pays big dividends in the first couple years. DT is such a crap shoot and either we get a top ten caliber guy in a draft when we have a high pick, or we are better off going for the best 2nd and/or 3rd round DT's we can get, and just keep doing that until we
develop a stud DT rotation that can help us win games.

We do have Vickerson, Warren, Bannen and likely Thomas after the draft noit to mention McBean whenever he shows back up after his holiday, and perhaps Ben Garland as well which could really be a good lift as well?! Brandon Thomas sounds about right or maybe even Reyes if he last until the second round.

We need a really good Corner prospect, a stud RB and a solid ILB too.

if Mattheau has another season like last year, no way he falls to the later part of the 1st round. we would need probably a top 5 pick to get him.

Well there is one positive to this draft already. It's that Ryan Tannehill a few months ago was talked about as a 2nd round guy possibly late 1st. Now that he's moved up in most mocks, that pushes other good players down towards us. :strong:
