Classic.

And here we have yet another case of a cocky DA overcharging. I don't even have to know "the facts" of this case to be able to tell that the chances of any jury coming to a "guilty" verdict for that charge is probably less than 1%.

Mike Tyson on George Zimmerman: ĎItís a disgrace he hasnít been shot yetí

We have to continue tweeting, we have to continue marching, we have to continue fighting for Trayvon Martin. If that's not the case, he was killed in vain, and we're just waiting for it to happen to our children. He'll have gotten away with impunity. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been dragged out of his house and tied to a car and taken away. That's the only kind of retribution that people like that understand. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested--the fact that he hasn't been shot yet is a disgrace. That's how I feel personally about it."

Dude, this case may not even see a jury. I definitely feel that that DA was overreaching here. Should have gone for Manslaughter 1. Much better chance of bringing home a conviction.

Tweeting, revealing the stupidity of some.

The neighborhood watch dogs have gone too far. Here in Utah we had one who stopped a group of girls. One of the girls had texted her dad before he stopped them and said they were being stalked. Dad showed up, the girl said this guy had been following them for a long time. Dad confronted the watch guy, both had a gun, the neighborhood watch guy got shot and paralyzed. A year later the neighborhood watch guy, in a wheelchair, is in court charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a teenager, not the same girl.

How hard is it to watch what's going on in your neighborhood without a gun, without driving around harassing people? Seems some of these are just power hungry people.

This is American individualism in full twisted mode. The notion that you need a gun to defend yourself and that everyone is out to get you. One is a very old part of American psyche, the other has come with the advent of a modern media that sells fear.

I love how this is a white/black thing when he's just as white as Barack Obama is black.

Thanks, MSM.

Zimmerman is a WHITE Hispanic. Emphasis on the evil racist slave driving bitter clinger white part. Thanks mainstream media for clarifying that.

People have a right to arm themselves. Just because they do so doesn't mean they are all paranoid, backwards-thinking neanderthals. And one shooting doesn't prove guns in America are any more unjustified than one rape that would have been stopped if a victim had a gun.

Personally i think the imaginary rape that's being referred to could be resolved with fists. The other idea that your rifle is somehow going to defend you against the military in the event of some hollywood takeover, is also totally bogus.

here's another example today of the downsides of giving people guns - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-17707782

A man shot and killed his daughter and wife after she said she was leaving him at a crowded restaurant in the US state of Ohio, police have said.

My take is gun control doesn't exist in other countries because they're worried about you. It exists because of the potential for abuse as well as the dangers of having "the gun option" inserted into normal confrontation.

I grew up in a city of 6 million (Hong Kong in the 80s and 90s) with strict gun control laws and I'm pretty sure our gun related deaths were less than five per year. It was probably closer to one or two.

The US has strict gun laws.........They just aren't inforced and that is the problem.

Sarcasm is hard to convey accurately on the internet, some people can do it well, I still haven't figured it out. But the post was sarcastic I'm just not very good at putting my thought to type very well. Carry on :)
