Ron Paul's rally in Michigan on February 27th draws 2500 people. I believe Romney's biggest crowd was 2200 people.

Oh wait, correction, the new record was set at the Wisconsin rally on March 29th, which was attended by 5200 people!!!

Ooops, one more correction, Paul drew 6200 people in California this past Tuesday April 3rd. The mainstream media was nowhere to be found.

This just in! It turns out the newest record was set at another California rally yesterday with 7800 people in attendance. :)

Ron Paul's supporters' time and money haven't been wasted. His message is being heard even if he doesn't win. The other candidates represent the same tired status quo. Their dwindling crowds, in comparison to Paul’s enthusiastic masses, highlight the apathy and disinterest with establishment politicians.

To Beerslug, if you don't win you're 'nothing' and don't matter. What a worldview.

Wrong again, as the the super majority of Americans have shown by showing the out of touch and looney Paul the door.

That's what makes him a hero to the TeaTards.

The message of individual freedom, limited government, and personal responsibility has been gaining popularity over the last ten years. I don't see the trend reversing if Obama or Romney get 4 more years. Everybody knows Ron Paul had the most passionate and enthusiastic supporters over the last couple of years, but what has happened over the past couple of weeks has been even more amazing even for Ron Paul. The number of people now coming to his events are shattering all the previous records for attendance.

That's what makes him a hero to the TeaTards.

He's also a hero to some of the enlightened OWS crowds.

Extreme?

End the wars. Abide by the Constitution. Audit the central bank.

You must be looney.

Do you believe that strict constructionism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strict_constructionism) is the only way to interpret the constitution?

He's received credit where due from liberals where his positions on war and the Fed are concerned, but his domestic policy positions are straight out of Ayn Rand.

That's why no one with two brain cells to rub together takes RP seriously.

He sounds like every other white male educated online via a conservative think tank (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Ludwig_von_Mises_Institute) (Mises) and Ron Paul videos. Way to consume that alt media. Yup - and he admits he started off by reading Peter Schiff (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pp-uvn6Xj7o), and listens to him every day hahaha.

edit: that came off harsh. The second video starts off well enough, there's some truth in it. I'm reminded of an old alkemical post that said we can work with these people,
