Do you think he makes the team? At this point I don't see any reason to cut him for cap reasons. We have some young nickel DBs like Harris, Thompson, and Vaughn. I'm not sure how Goodman can fit into that role. I remember when we brought the ghost of Ty Law in to play that part and he couldn't do it at all. Thoughts on how we can use Porter, Bailey, and Goodman at the sametime to make the D better at the back end?

unless he takes a HUGE hit in money this year or we lose a couple of starters he is toast..

I think he can be the number 2 here. He's done a decent job thus far.

Normally I would agree but, I think it's not always fair to judge the guy playing on the other side of Champ. Also when I look at what the Pats have at WR before cut downs, Welker, Ocho, Lloyd, Branch, and Stallworth. Then you have to cover Gronk and Hernandez still.

The Pats are a team we will have to beat if we want to move on in the playoffs so the more guys that can cover the better.

1. Although Andre Goodman's ball skills leave a lot to be desired, he is much better than he gets credit for. It ain't easy playing opposite Champ Bailey.

2. Andre is the 2nd/3rd best corner on this team right now. He'll make it easily as a nickel, but I think he'll look to start somewhere.

easy. keepy him. Still our top 2-3 corner on the team. Maybe better than Porter still.

After watching us run through corners the last few years, I say keep him for depth at the very least.

exactly....why not keep him around to compete for that job? With our luck at that position we would cut Goodman and Porter will go down to IR

If you are in a "win now" mode, you never dump players that can possibly start (unless it is a necessity). However, if we happen to take a CB in the first 2 rounds, I think that's our sign from the FO.

I think TC will have some competition this year.

It would be idiotic to cut or trade Goodman, considering NE dropped 45 on this defense. The Broncos need all the NFL-quality help in the secondary they can get.

The only reason Goodman got burned on the bomb in the playoffs was because Branch pushed off.
