If we made it out of the first two rounds with those guys I would kiss a baby.

You take out James in the 3rd and add a o lineman and I'd take it.

I had Worthy, David, and James in my first three rounds. I think Curry will be a beast, that's why I have some doubts he falls that far in the second round. I think he will end up being the best DE in the draft IMO.

My opinion on LaVonte David is he can come in and take over the nickel LB right away. He has pretty good coveage skill which we need from our LBs in the worst way. He can get after the QB as well. I wouldn't be heart broken if we walked away with either player in the second round.

I am with you until picking another Buff for the team.

I doubt James is there at our 3rd pick. Chris Rainey on the other hand... but I don't like him as much.

worthy - Love it
curry - Love it but I don't think he'll last that long (I picked him in my Mock Draft around here, so who knows)
l. james (not lebron) - This would be a great pick for value, but I kind of hope we use our top three picks for D line, Linebacker, and Corner in that order.
bradham - Not bad.
k. randall - Probably won't last that long, even as deep as this DT class is.
hilton - Love this
ryan miller (mike millers cousin in the NBA) Well he's no Matt Reynolds, but ok.

Not bad, but I really hope we sign a corner somewhere somewhat hi.

I like pick 1, don't really care for two and I'll hit somebody in the face if we draft Lamichael James. That dude has bust written all over him IMO. Would rather look for an every down back and have Slowshon as our 3rd down guy.

Did'nt Denver just sign Porter to take care of our CB issues until we get healthy and some experience for the guys we now have???

I hope our draft is even half as good as some of the mocks I've seen you guys do. If we walked away with this draft I'd be on cloud 9.

On the offensive side of the ball, it certainly would be exciting to add some explosiveness to our offense with LeMichael James and T.Y. Hilton.

Not exactly the players I would pick, but I'd be doing backflips if this were the Broncos' real draft!

I'd like James here but, is that a type of RB Fox wants?

i like Rainey, even though he isn't as versatile as James. i want a guy who is pretty much just a return guy and Rainey would be awesome with that job. and Rainey would likely be available as late as the 4th so we could go hard on defense in the 1st 3 rounds where you find the guys you hope are day 1 starters.

I was reading a report on PFW Weekly and it seemed that the Broncos are fine going in with Lance Ball to be that tough inside runner opposite of McGahee. The reason I picked James and Hilton were the speed dimensions they run to our offense. It'd be a simple switch of putting a higher rated OLB/DL @ James pick and getting someone else in the fourth. I think that the fourth and fifth rounds are going to have tremendous depth for RB / WR.

Love the James pick. Him or rainey would be excellent. Adding pure speed in the roster with him and hilton would be amazing.

I Really like:

Bradham, Curry, and Hilton as players. Bradham and Hilton really fit in DEN. Curry is NOT a LDE, so his usefulness would be as a first down RDE for Dumervil. Not sure I like that with a second rounder.

I do not like:

Lamichael James pick. Not my kind of player in the NFL.

I really hate:

Keeston Randall-the next UT DL to not be a good NFL player IMHO. I seriously try to give one of these kids the benefit of the doubt when I scout DL. However, the only one I have remotely liked was Orakpo and he is playing OLB for WAS and not even a DL anymore.

Not sure about:

Worthy and Miller-both could be solid NFL players, but not sure I can live with Worthy @25. Miller is at least a decent value there. Lot's of DT talent, just not sure I want any risk at 25. I would want Thompson there. Just not sure he is worth that high of a pick.

Bottom line on LMJ, he isn't that fast. He isnt going to have a multidirectional spread offense in the NFL which is going to create space for him. Watch how many tackles the kid breaks at Oregon. Watch how many times he makes somebody miss to break a run... Not much. He isn't a Warrick Dunn type player. Different skillset. I like his backup as a better pro than LMJ.

I don't want to get my hopes up that we draft a DT high only to have them crushed on draft day.

Interesting bpc. I think we're more likely to draft McGahee's eventual replacement than LMJ.
