oh hell... if we can ramble for 20 pages about space pyramids and antigrav machines, this topic certainly deserves a poll.

I'm trying to understand what the joke is here. Why do people keep voting yes for this stupid idea?

Let's take a guy who choked for us in every big situation he ever was in, and make him a back-up responsible for carrying our team through the playoffs if our HOF quarterback were to go down. Also he hasn't played in 4 years. What could go wrong?

Jake Plummer couldn't back up Manning at handball, nevermind football

If our HOF QB goes down, we're not going anywhere in the playoffs with any backup in the league........... besides Timmy.

Can you please post your Plummer avatar. Because I really want to have Popps post why you are wrong about the QB spot again.

once again antiehr stupid thread and poll..

There is not a snow balls chance in hell of Jake coming back to football.

He has his health, hot wife and hand ball why would he want to take another hit on sunday..

BTW all the money he will ever need. HE was smart to invest it instead of blowing on clothers, cars and bling..

No.

1) He's been away too long.
2) He has an admittedly poor work ethic.

Every time I read a post like this from you I regret not taking video of you dancing around the south stands next to me cheering for Jake Plummer.

Taco had his orange pom poms and was absolutely stunned what Jake did the Chiefs that day. I believe it was 2006. Come on taco. Admit it! You were a Jake Plummer fan!

Ok back to tebow bashing. Man we have a lot of rejects to bash now. ;D

Clinton Portis was the hero that day (5 TDs (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2003120711/2003/REG14/chiefs@broncos#tab=recap)). But I'm not too proud to admit that I used to roll on Plummer's bandwagon. I thought the guy had it in him to win a Superbowl at one point in time, and even started a thread about it here (that subsequently turned into the "I'm going to call it now" meme) that anyone could find if they tried. But his choking performances when December and January rolled around changed my mind on him.

As a fellow Idaho guy, I wanted the guy to succeed as a Denver Bronco. I wanted to see Plummer go down as a great Bronco. But my allegiance to seeing the Broncos winning trumps my fanhood of any player, and I came to realize that Plummer was a roadblock to the Broncos advancing in the playoffs. Shanahan came to realize that as well, and when Plummer choked against the Steelers, the writing was on the wall.

His time is over.

Anyone who voted "yes" much less "hell yes!" needs serious psychiatric help.

I voted yes mostly due to a wicked sense of humor. Plus some men just want to watch the world burn.

I'm not even sure that just plain "no" is sufficient.

At his age... and being away from football for so long, it would take forever for him to get back in "football shape". He should stick to playing handball.

I voted hell yes, because no backup we have or that is currently a FA will win us games if Peyton goes down anyways.

And Jake Plummer is a cool dude. He will keep the morale level on the bench up. Or just flip people the bird all day long.

Either way, gold.

Honestly though, to put his reign in perspective, his years as a quarterback were better than any qb era we've have post Elway.
