And mentions the Broncos.

"Williams and Stewart both were first-round picks by the Panthers and are highly regarded by the team. But it’s pretty obvious the Panthers just sent a message that either one could be available and other teams are going to start calling to inquire about trades."

"It might be difficult to get a trade partner for Williams. The Panthers signed him to a huge contract last summer and that could scare off some suitors. But I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of the Panthers dealing Williams. Fox likes Williams a lot and could want a new toy for Peyton Manning in Denver. Some other team might be willing to take a shot on Williams."

Make sense to me. Not crazy about Williams to be a featured back, but splitting carries with Magahee will make him more dangerous, not to mention staying healthy.
Stewart is not as good fit as DW, since Manning seems to prefer smaller and nimble backs.

KnowMo could be an effective on third downs. There, I put Knowmo and effective in a same sentence...

There is a LOT of talent at RB in this draft. I'd like us to pick a young guy save some change and spend money on D.

I miss the old days when we could get 1200 yards out of a Street FA.

I'd be happy they spend money on anything that is a legit starter.

Sorry don't have the scrilla! Only have enough $ left to sign Bunkley ($4M), Saturday ($4.5M), Clark ($4M), Stokely ($1M), Dawkins ($1M), and the draftpicks ($5M).

Move along...not drafting an RB either (maybe a 6th rounder).

depends on the pick involved in the trade. Williams makes a lot of money, so I'm not super crazy about trading a pick for him on top of the deal. Stewart could be nice.

Williams and Tolbert would probably be a better combo since offer different things, so Stewart may be the guy more available. In any case, the Broncos need more RB help from somewhere.

I would be surprised if Bunkley only went for 4 million a year, especially when we just spent 4 mil a year on Joe Mays.

Okay, give him $5M...and lowball Stokely.

We could always cut Ty Warren...but we kinda need him to create pressure. Don't have anyone else could feasibly do it (from the inside).

Didn't you say Denver wasn't getting Manning?

I am glad we didn't panic and reach for a guy. We have a lot of flexibilty going into the rest of the draft and if we can use a pick to grab a known player then it is even better.

Lol at people crying about trading back. The point was to get out of the first round and not take a player you feel is a 2nd round grade. Rams did it as the felt the sweet part of the draft was in the top of round two. Fisher knows his stuff.

We could very easily end up with three 2nd round picks tomorrow. And still keep our third! Worthy, Ta'Amu, Reyes, Thompson, Hill, sanu, Miller, James, David, Brown, Jenkins, Robinson, Boykins, Osweiller, Cousins, fleener, Upshaw, Nelson, and Konz are all in play. 19 players. We have a great shot at two, maybe three of them. Before the trades, we were looking at maybe two of them. Btw, anybody that went at or after 25... Not interested in them... Except for maybe Doug Martin.

Remain calm people!
