It's a Clayton article, but, I assume, that Bayless talks about the "mistake" in the SC clip. I don't currently have sound on, so I don't know...

Bayless is the media equivalent of jhns. If he's sniveling, it's a good thing. ;D

I personally can't stand Skip Bayless, he's an insult to the gene pool he came from. I'm not going to watch him act like a ****tard, so I'll just respond to the thread title without specifics of his idiocy.

But fact is, Manning made easily the best decision for him. Harbaugh wasn't giving up enough control for Manning to do his thing in SF. None of the other teams have an OL and defense as close to ready as ours, not to mention the resources/cap money to capitalize on his addition to fill those holes and take the next step.

Assuming Magazu can coach up our young OL like he can reasonably be expected to, and assuming we make some intelligent follow up signings to Manning (like Clark, Saturday, any other human on the planet to play #2 CB, etc.) we'll be a serious contender next year in a division Manning should win at a walk.

The only real problem with Manning coming here is that Broncos fans need to put themselves in the "I LOVE TEBOW!/I HATE TEBOW" camps and therefore we can't do the reasonable thing and keep him. We aren't going to get fair value when we discard him and we aren't going to put someone with his potential in as the #2 QB. So we're taking two negative hits on this move. Its a damn shame the FO won't just sack up and show some PR management skills here.

Seems like a good place for this update.

Looks like peanut butter and chocolate edged out bacon and ranch.

Stay tuned for more breaking food coverage.

The story is different than the video. Bayless is talking about it in the video. It keeps cycling through to different video takes though. I'm looking for the SC clip I was trying to link to. Sorry gang.

Try this one:

Yeah, F him for that. What we needed was more criticism.

Hilarious!

They don't. What other team but SF even in the long shot running (AZ, MIA, TEN, etc.) have defensive play makers like Doom, Miller, and Champ?

What one of those teams has a young line where all the starters were together last year to develop chemistry, with the potential for a fully healthy Ryan Clady, Chris Kuper who is one of the better OGs in the NFL, etc.?

There are a lot of good young players on this roster. We just have an equal number of spots where we have massive gaping holes (DT, MLB, #2 CB, TE, etc.)
