I've always been under the impression that once it's retired, it's a done deal. I've never heard of a team reinstating a retired #

Didn't Willie Mays let Barroid wear his number? What a disgrace.

Didn't Len Dawson wear #16. I think he gave Montana permission to wear it and he went with #19 out of respect.

The top one kind of looks like it was borrowed from a Plummer pose.

You're so good. And gorgeous too.

"His number (80) was retired in 1992; Largent is the first Seahawk player to be so honored (the team has retired number 12 in honor of the fans, the “twelfth man”, and the number 71 for Offensive Lineman Walter Jones, on December 5, 2010).[3] During Jerry Rice's stint with the Seahawks in 2004, Largent's number 80 was temporarily "unretired" after a conversation between Rice and Largent that was reportedly initiated by then Seahawks president Bob Whitsitt."
