Very close to Peyton Manning....VERY CLOSE to him.

He was the Vice Chairman of the Indianapolis Colts from 98-11 (Manning's entire career in Indy). He drafted Manning.

Broncos and Titans.

ESPN's Bill Polian calls Peyton competition dead heat between <s>#</s>Titans (https://twitter.com/#%21/search/%23Titans) and Denver.

So Miami and AZ are out of it.

Titans are getting the last meeting.

That's a ****ing HUGE advantage.

Not comfortable at all now.

It's a dead heat and he's yet to even meet them. That should say enough.

EDIT: His son Dennis Polian is also now the assistant HC of the Titans. Suck up for Manning much?

Is it a dickhead move by Manning to unseat a veteran guy like Hasselbeck? Please don't tell me about Tebow's feelings. I get it.

If Peyton goes to work for Bud Adams he's an idiot. He should give Jeff Fisher a call.

Adams is a ****ing idiot. I love how he said Manning could get them back to the playoffs. That's how narrow his vision is. Bowlin is talking Super Bowl or bust. Playoffs...Super Bowl...Playoffs...Super Bowl...Playoffs...Super Bowl...

incredible the titans would put locker on the bench...a real QBOTF who showed massive potential (not tebow potential aka fun to watch and win games but offense not very good, actual passing potential)

That's funny because the biggest selling point I keep hearing for us is that our division is easy to win.

Translation "Manning could get us back to the playoffs"

Peyton's a God in the state of Tennessee so I hope it's a courtesy call. Do we have legit sources yet on this meeting? I can't hardly keep up with everything.

The only good news I guess is that it is at night, so a quick little courtship at dinner, then the next day to tour around and such, and then he weighs his options and then by friday we know. or so I hope

im talking about his ability to score points as an offense. i like tebow as much as the next guy and want to see him play in 2012, but the truth is denver was winning games without scoring a lot of points (albeit scoring them when they needed them the most)

Yes it is. I do not expect Manning to make a snap judgment but I also think there could be some consideration since free agency has started. Now I do not believe he wants to go to Tenn and I don't give a rat's ass if he comes to Denver or doesn't, just make a damn decision so we can start getting some defensive free agents!

Thanks for the vent time.

Peyton Manning has Broncos among top two choices on list

"Throughout his 14-year NFL career, Peyton Manning has become renowned for the remarkable preparation he brings into each game.

It should be no surprise, then, that Manning is weighing all factors including weather as he struggles to make one of the biggest decisions of his life.

According to multiple NFL sources, Manning has the Broncos among his top two choices. He likes that coach John Fox will give him carte blanche of the offense and he believes Colorado would give him a quality of life for his wife Ashley and twins, who will turn 1 on March 31....."

You don't give a rat's ass? Cuz....it's kinda a big deal.

Also, I don't think the team is waiting on Peyton before the begin tryin to get Defensive FAs...Offensive? Maybe, as they may wanna see what Peyton needs/wants. But, not on D.

They have the $ and room.

Agreed, some of the experts around here apparently expected us to have signed a DT, LB, CB, and safety by now.
