You need advice, Peyton Manning. We need a column. It works out.
You seem to have whittled your Stick Your Neck Out Tour down to four teams: Denver, Arizona, Tennessee and Miami. These teams all want you the way Chelsea wants vodka, yet none of them is even sure you can play anymore. Who cares? You are The Bachelor, and they are four blondes in five-inch heels with daddy issues. Let's do this.

You need an unbiased, objective system to break this down. We will work with the time-honored plus/minus system, going from minus-5 to plus-5. Get your calculator out. May the best town win.

Divisions

Denver plays in a division that could be taken by a team of girl scouts armed with Pez dispensers. The Broncos won it last year with a guy who tossed more dirtballs than a Hooters bouncer. Tennessee has a chance to beat Houston if the Titans get you, I suppose. Arizona -- even with you and your brother -- is not going to beat the 49ers. Miami, going up against Tom Brady twice a year? You'd get to Saturn before you'd get to the playoffs there.

Points: Denver +5, Tennessee and Arizona 0, Miami -5.

Wide receivers

In Arizona, you could throw to Larry Fitzgerald Jr., which is like a chef cooking for Vince Wilfork. Hard to beat. But he is only one man, and the Cardinals don't have much beyond him. In Miami, you can throw to Brandon Marshall, who is a very elusive guy. Just ask the police. Denver has Demaryius Thomas, who is only 24 and already a ball-gobbling glutton. Plus, the Broncos have a possible star in Eric Decker. Tennessee has receivers even people in Nashville don't recognize. In uniform.

Points: Arizona +5, Denver and Miami 0, Tennessee -5.

This article makes perfect sense if Peyton's highest aspiration is to be the Division Champion of a ****ty division. The problem is once you get beyond that. If Peyton wants rings, he should be looking for the best overall team (who needs a QB)

Final score:

Denver +40
Arizona +15
Tennessee 0
Miami -10

Of course, this means he'll be a Dolphin. Hilarious!

If you don't get into the playoffs it doesn't matter. Phins are in the same div as the pats . You think that phins with manning are even close to beating the pats? I say not even close. How about the cards. They're in the same div as the 49ers who was a couple of plays from the SB . Lets not forget Seahawks are improveing and rams just a got a boat load of picks so that should be getting better. That leaves titans. Without Fisher that team has identity .If Manning comes here, and he's a 100%, we become the team to beat in the AFC West. Mix in some good defense ,good o-line play, and a running attack. We got a chance to do something special.

I would've given PM Wayne, Reggie and BMarsh a better shot at a ring than us. Same with ARI, Wayne and Larry. Titans could also make a run with solid OL, a healthy Britt, Wayne and CJ2K. That might be the best bet of the bunch.

Needless to say, in any case, if you can't win the AFC South, it's 99% sure you're not winning a Super Bowl.

LOL. You're talking about going to a Div where he's never had a good time against the Pats. Now you want him to play them twice? Try again.

Titans? They're the closest against us. Payton know that Div like the back of his had. But here is why not? Lets play a game: Whos the better team. Chargers vs. Texans. Texans > Chargers.

Jax vs. Radiers. Jax ~ Raiders.

Indie vs. KC. Indie > KC. Here's the tie breaker. Where did Titans finish in there Div? Second. We finished 1st.

So Manning wants big money and play in a soft division because he is scared to play in a division that has just one good team in it? What a deal. This is what people are getting excited about? I just don't believe Manning would cross teams off his list just because of the division they play in. A true competitor wouldn't care about that and it is rather ridiculous Bronco fans would want someone who was like that, especially if they turn right around and claim Tebow isn't a true competitor if he isn't happy to supposedly compete with Manning for the job, a job the new guy thinks was easier than others, which hardly shows being a competitor. So this "Broncos play in a weak division" is a stupid selling point IMO.

People are getting excited about not having having a guy piss 50 percent of the balls in the dirt each time he *drops back to pass*.

More logic fail...

Chances are, PM's going to have to be better than the Pats (or the Texans) to win a trophy. Peyton's been winning a suck division his whole career. 10 times out of 11, he came away emptyhanded.

Putting himself on a less competitive team just to win an easier division is self-defeating if his goal is the Super Bowl.

Not really. Home field has an impressive advantage in the playoffs. Having a bye is great. Being in this horrible division gives Manning the shot at the best record. So.. the most wins... best change to have a bye and play the most games at home.. and therefor the best chance to land in the SB.

Getting to the playoffs is priority. Winning your division is always the first goal of a team. His best chance is here.

I still don't know why people are adverse to him coming to Denver. His experience, leadership, and being just pretty dang amazing, is a huge upgrade over Tebow. I like Tebow (well, I liked his training video.. here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxY8Bbna20o ), but he won't win a SB as a QB imo. Great athlete, with mediocre QB skills. Adore him to bits.. his attitude and drive to win and positive attitude and good ethics and morals and all of that, but I just want the Broncos to do great even more.

Manning will bring in new talent. He'll provide leadership. He will sell tickets. He'll win a lot of games. He will NOT wait to score points until the fourth quarter. Tebow is like.. "wait for it.. waaaiiit for it.. wait! .. ok.. fourth quarter.. ok, here we go!" Manning is like.. "score.. score.. score.. score.."

I'll take Manning, thank yew. ;D

Peyton Manning will pass for seven thousand yards in Denver first year out the gate. I bet that dude can throw it 90 yards in the air laserbeam style.

How many times has Brady lost to the same team twice in a row? AMD who says that PM would Pats Or Houston in the playoffs. Remember the Broncos 99 team. We we're. suppose to face the Vikings. If we did we might have lost against that game. The point is you play who you play to get to the SB.
BTW, everybody says AFC west is the weakest div. AFC southis and look how well that. worked out for PM. Made the playoffs most years and took out Page on the way to the way to a SB.

Titans went 9-7 last year. We went 8-8. Titans beat us also ( with Orton?)

Apparently Adams will spend whatever to get Manning . advantage Tenn!
