Does this sway a certain FA QB's decision?

Cutting your starting LT doesn't seem like the best strategy to get a free agent QB to sign with you.

I'm sorry, but If I'm Manning.....I run from the Cardinals....and if I'm Chris Wells or any other running back....I'm looking to leave town.

970 million to go until they can afford Peyton.

I've heard Peyton Manning releases so quick he doesn't need an offensive line. Basically just a center. The rest of the guys can just hold hands and taunt "Red Rover" taunts because Peyton is incapable of being sacked.

Manning will see this move as a plus.

Okay. But if he started for them last year then it's a good assumption that whoever else they have is worse. And if they sign Manning where do they get the $ for a replacement? LT's aren't cheap.

Started every game for AZ for the last 4 seasons, hardly a jabroni.

Is George Foster available? He didn't block anyone on the right side, he could easily do the same on the left side.

Right. But again, they need a player at the position. And LT is a premium position. If they sign Manning, do they also have the funds to get a competent replacement? Plus fill whatever other holes they have to fill?

True, but does this sound like a strong selling point to you: "Don't worry, Peyton, we'll draft some unknown quantity to protect your backside."

Denver will give them Clady in a trade for a 4th.

::)

Nice tackle class this year.

It's better than, "Don't worry, Peyton, they might have Larry Fitzgerald, but we lead the league in drop %! And our defense might statistically suck in every ****ing category but Von Miller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111"

Don't be an ass. I'm sure there'll be levers in there to get a conditional 3rd.

A LT that has started for four seasons is better than NO ONE. Hardly a selling point to a FA QB.

J.Martin from Stanford is likely their pick in the draft regardless of Manning.

I think a selling point for the Cards is replacing Brown at LT. He should be a RT or a guard IMO.

G would be smart. Even his play is very Leondard Davis reminiscent.

They had to cut him with or without Manning.
