Some words to the wise. Shooting Advice from various Concealed Carry Instructors.

If you own a gun, you will appreciate this. If not, you should get one and learn how to use it:


A; Guns have only two enemies rust and politicians.
B; Its always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
C; Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.
D; Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.
E; Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.
F; The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.
G; The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win - cheat if necessary.
H; Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it'll be empty.
I; If you're in a gun fight:
1/ If you're not shooting, you should be loading.
2/ If you're not loading, you should be movin,
3/ If you're not movin', you're dead.
J; In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something!
K; If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
L; You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language.
M; You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

On July 19, 4-year-old Dylan Jackson shot himself to death after finding a loaded gun at a friend's home during a birthday party.

- A 3-year-old Southeast Washington boy shot himself in the foot and grazed his hand while playing with his father's gun -- which he found lying on the floor.

- A 2-year-old Tampa boy shot himself in the chest with a loaded 9 mm he found in his parent's couch while playing.

- Last February, a 13-year-old boy shot himself with a semiautomatic handgun in the home of his guardian, a Maryland police officer.

- The 10-year-old son of a New York City police officer died after shooting himself in the face with his father's loaded revolver. The boy found the weapon on a shelf in the basement while looking for a ball his mom had hidden.

Is there a way to stop these senseless deaths?

The NRA (National Rifle Association) sponsors classes that teach children if they find a gun to leave the area and inform an adult, but studies show kids who take these classes are no less likely to play with guns than kids who don't attend class.

If the **** ever goes down last thing you want is to run out of ammo. Thats why i like my .22 rifle. Ammo so cheap. The police were warned long in advanced about the possible trouble with Harris and Klebold in 1998. The also gained the firearms illegally getting an 18 year-old girl to buy the guns for them. She was not charged, but should have been.

Until just lately I have been unable to find ammo for my 45 and 380..

in the early stages of obama admin they stopped buying ammo for the troops..

Then they had to buy it, that is the biggest reason the manufactures were unable to supply it to the genreal pubilc...

Had a couple of Gun shops close down during that time frame as all they had to sell were guns.


Now no worryies I pick up a few boxes each month..

It was not because of fear of what might happen in the public schools it was the fear of what would not happen like them getting an education..

It happened right after my sophomore son was required to take a state mandated test that if you did not pass it you could not graduate..

Afteward he told me there was nothing on the test he did not have in 8th grade.. He was enrolled the next semester in Military school..

that was when they were actually teaching classes now they "teach the test".. can't imagine the lack of teaching today..

To answer your question, I dont know for sure. I do know as a parent that when my kid was a teenager my wife and I were very protective (almost to a fault). There is know way in a million years we wouldnt have seen the signs or at the very least collection of weapons. If those kids parents were as vigilant as my wife and I were there might not have been an incident.

I understand that , and I dont want to take anyones gun away , but I want people to be responsible ... I thought about teaching a self defense course , you dont have to be built like me or some kind of blackbelt in karate , 2 things predators use ......
1. fear .... they want you to fear them , last thing they want is a fair fight ...
2. element of surprise , they dont want you to be expecting it , shock and fear ..
I found water bottles filled with Clorox bleach , Wooden baseball bats , hot hamburger grease and rearranging your furniture regularly will all help in home defense , when out on the streets dont stand out , blend in and for petes sake dont act like a victim or you will end up as one , Small blades hidden between your fingers , car keys in between your middle finger and ring finger , tazers , pepper spray , all of these things will save you in a jam ...... ;)
