It would cool to meet up with a Bronco player like this dude did.

cool beans....

That night, Paladin invited Brown to his friend's birthday at the upscale chain, The Capital Grille. Brown, who signed a three-year, $1.29 million contract as a sixth-round draft pick in 2010 and made a second-year minimum of $450,000 this past season, graciously picked up the entire bill full of drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert.

That's not as good as entrusting the fan with his credit card to buy him dress shoes at Saks

If you had to pick one active Bronco for this who would it be?

While Spider might say Prater... I'd probably have to go with Champ. Hanging out with Dawkins would probably be all prayer and mash potatos with his family.

I bet DJ and Moreno are looking for some DDs (drivers, not boobies).

I like how they make Brown's salary of 450k seem like he is borderline on welfare. Good story though.

I'd start off getting tanked with DJ doing shots of Jack before he would drive me to cosmo to meet champ. I'd love to have a night in vegas playing craps with champ before hitting strip club with Prater. After strip club Moreno could line us up a college girl party and drive us around sauced from every casino from mandalay to harrah's along the strip.

Sounds like a bromantic movie script.

(not that there's anything wrong with that) :)

Guess I'm the only one who doesn't see it as great.

I'm not sure what this kid's back-up plan is but at 450k a year he is taking home around 300k net. He can afford it - if he plans on a long career with a huge contract in the future or has a solid backup in mind with a regular paycheck. Otherwise he need to put that money in market(or at least he should have a couple months ago) and save-up. Living it up is nice and all but maybe just treat yourself once in a while until you've secured the multi-million signing bonus - then by all means live the good life.

"Like this" - as in working out with?

Probably Broderick Bunkley. That dude is a workout boss and probably the best athlete on the team.

you're right, instead of a one off interaction with fans from twitter at a birthday party, antonio brown should be reading market reports and stealing balloons from children

There no margin in balloons, candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.

Will you be crying when there is a news article about yet another player who blew his multi-million dollar salary and is now penniless?

hoard, miser! you can only catch balls for so many years! no buck in smiles and laughs, churl! friends turn leeches and there is naught to console you but the marginal comforts of margins and dividends

While I do agree with your statement, in this instance I also think it's completely classy that he's giving back to a fan.

If it wasn't for us fans these guys wouldn't be making the kinda money they do. So I see this act of kindness as giving back to those who make it possible for him to live his dream.

Yes, yes you would. But lets be clear, no video or pictures to be shared on this freak show board....damn bunch of pervs probably think of something weird, when really Gunns and I would just be asking Eric about his football knowledge and his um, yeah so anyway it will all be perfectly respectable and above board so I suppose we could post pictures.....;D

You must live a very joylessly judgmental life.
