Now that the season's over (at least for Broncos), when are we supposed to clear our "Adopt-a-Bronco" picks?

Whenever you want to?

Yeah dude, just do it... I always clear my old ones and pick my new ones after the draft, though.

You will never get Tebow....... Seriously, that is really why you want to know.

You do not have to "Clear out" your adopt-a-Bronco.

It's just a field you can fill out anytime you want and pick who you want.

I'm lazy. That's why I say "all of them".

Makes it simple.

I haven't tried to procreate or adopt a Bromco since Squid. And if you had any idea how giant squid mate, you wouldn't either.

Years ago we went in order. I think it was by seniority. Now, just do the damn well you please. Since we have allowed welchers, how can you control double adoptees. Armchair, if you want Tebow, TJ charges $25 for having first pick. Bruton is absolutely free.

I know that. I'm asking more about the correct PROTOCOL.

Like, is it considered bad practice to clear 'em out before the Super Bowl? Or bad mojo to wait until March or April?

The instruction just say that you should not change during the season...but when does "the season" end? When your team goes home? When the Lombardi is hoisted? When the draft is over?

Can I pick Darrien Gordon? He's still one of my favorite Broncos from the Glory Days.

You could edit your settings right this second and write "Scrotie McBoogerballs" as your adopt a Bronco.

It matters not.

It's a new custom here that "Ring of Famers" may clear their adoptee this month. But they must then start over by adopting either Eddie Kennison, George Foster, Eric Brown, Steve Tensi, or Josh McDaniels.

if you were as clever as you are lazy you just wouldn't have one.

What kind of parent are you? You just want to cruelly cast your adopt-a-bronco out into the cold, cold world without any support?

Just kidding -- there's no hard and fast rule, but I think that traditionally we wait until after the draft.... that's when I'm kicking Virgil Green's ass to the curb.

I'm still hoping that pot smoking baby-daddy gets another chance. Trav would rip it up in our new run system...

Scratch that, I thought I still had Travis, but I guess I switched to Arkie-boy a couple years ago. These adopt a Broncos are very near and dear to my heart

Now here is the problem. There is a huge group of Darrien Gordon fans here at the Mane. If their born on date is before yours, they will grab it. You let the cat out of the bag on this one. Now that it will be a hot commodity, good luck grabbing him for the cheap. Someone might trade you for him if you, as an example, stop putting ":facepalm" after your posts. Not sure if you could do that though.

Just how seriously do you take this internet message board?

This is one of those "can't tell if serious" deals.

I remember running the "draft" of Adopt-A-Broncos, a few years ago. While it was fun, it was completely unnecessary.

Couldn't wait to get rid of mine (Brandon Lloyd). Figured I had to stick with it the entire season. *sigh* Wonder who my next victim is going to be.

I think we will do the adopt a bronco draft after the rookie draft in April. As in the past, earliest regular posters get first crack and so on to newbies. Personally, I don't know if I would give up Simon Fletcher. But I will sell my place in order (taking bribes).

Oh man the Tebow fans are screwed then. They all joined in late 2011

Mine's still relevant. The fact that he hasn't posted since September (and it was a weak effort, at that) does not change this.

Some of my home defense pictures is still a GOAT thread.

If you clear your adopt a Bronco too early, it's a one month ban.

I almost forgot about that. TJ got real hard ass on a ton of posters for doing that and many didnt come back after the ban. Remember that great poster Gonzo Lays? That dude was a pretty cool guy that always protected the little guy and would never say an off color remark. Then he made that one mistake of letting go of his Adoptee to early and bam! He was banned for a month. If I remember correctly, his adoptees was Jesus, Ron Paul and TJ.
