It's been a full court press by the media today to whip people into a weather frenzy. Fun to watch!

Yeesh, two inches already. Heavy and wet. Snowcalopsalyspe it won't be, but a workout shoveling it will be. I guess Eastern Colorado and Kansas will get hit. The wind went through here eight hours ago, that means the plains are seeing those winds now.

You can still go out every hour or two and brush the snow off for good measure.

LOL that is from a few years ago. I am remembering Circle Orange from Washington DC snowstorm. Am I correct?

I didnt know there was some huge storm coming in. We have pretty much missed out on winter in SoCal. THey mentioned the groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter? Good, we havent left Fall yet. BTW, I have been able to wear shorts everyday for at least a week and a half.

I have a Jeep that nice and high. PPPPPPPPPfffffffttt snow. can't stop me.

If it does get all snowpocalypse, I am gonna snowboard down the street behind a jeep.

Bad idea? Hopefully!

Already have to go with my self employed business. Great thing about owning your own business or coaching kids in great weather is that shorts can be an option.

How...can you hate...bacon?

You need to leave Angland ASAP. They are turning you all 6's and 7s. Next thing you'll tell us is that you fancy a nip of tea and biscuits and maybe later go down to the pub for a pint with your mates, eh?

Ruh-roh, three inches already, that's not a good sign. No wind, so that's a good sign. I think Eastern Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma will get hit hard.

The snow won't touch Oklahoma. The national radar shows snow in Eastern Colorado, Western Kansas and Nebraska.

This could be ugly. Four inches already, wicked West wind, the wind will shift to the North and East, seen it before. Heavy wet snow.

You'll get some moisture, it's a wet storm. Maybe not cold enough for snow.

This so far ain't ****. It ain't a real blizzard until you get 54" in 12 hours with 40mph gusts like we got on the Front Range in '03. And that's FUN not a "snowpocalypse".

8-12" doesn't even phase a real Coloradoan. Now, all the wimp transplants from TX and CA -- sure they get riled up, but they are idiots that are best to ignore (except to steer clear of on the roads) in general anyway.

it's pretty overrated so far on here on the Palmer Divide. i'm close to the mountains though, so maybe they are getting whacked further east. but for me, it's a big "meh" so far. early February is usually too early for really big snows anyway.

That's the way we are here in Utah. When the groundhog saw his shadow predicting 6 more weeks of winter I thought we haven't even left Fall yet. I've loved it except for the lack in the mountains which effects our economy and my ability to ski some powder. As far as driving to work though, GREAT. And it's predicted that precipitation here through April will be normal but warmer than normal which means rain.

When I was a kid my dad used to plow us a trail to the bus stop across the field below our house with the dozer. We always had 2-3 feet of snow and it would be below zero for weeks at a time. Have'nt seen that in a while. It will probably come in March thats when my bigger herd of cows start calving.
