Owens earned around $80 million during his NFL career, but has found himself in deep financial trouble, despite never spending lavishly.

Hilarious! Yeah, I know I could live for 15 years off 1 million dollars and do so quite comfortably.

I hope someone keeps the medicine cabinet locked so TO doesn't have another trip to the ER to get his stomach pumped...

He has no one to blame but himself. It was all about him. Was never a team first person and was more of a distraction than anything else. Looks like he's figuring it out when it's to late.

i could honestly not care any less about douchebags who go broke after getting paid like this

i could easily live the rest of my life in complete happiness with like 5% of the money he made, and still have a nice sum to leave to my future family when i am gone.

It's just amazing how these multi-millionaires can amass a fortune and then burn through it, ignoring every common sense approach to money management in the process.

Make $5 million in a year after taxes? Buy a million dollar home for cash and rent it out. Stick another million in an annuity. Spend $500K on gold, another $500K on Google and Apple. And maybe Goldman Sachs. Donate $500K.

That still leaves you with $1.5 million ANNUALLY for partying and the ladies!

Are you kidding me?

A signing bonus is taxed at roughly 45 percent on Federal income tax.

Owens never got a big signing bonus.

Looks like TO has about 325 (and dropping) reasons to live.

At some point, doesn't the Brewsters Millions effect kick in?

How COULD he have burned through that much cash and played football at the same time?

Where the eff did it all go?
