Just read Bob Kravitz Interview/article of Peyton Manning. My gut feel is Peyton will be playing somewhere else in 2012/13. He's definitly not done, but Lowe/Irsay may be angling to force him into retirement.

Manning a Bronco? what would it take to lure the greatest QB of our generation to my beloved broncos? A good Offensive line, Plenty of cap room, stable head coach, a versatile Off coordinator, perhaps hiring his old strength and conditioning coach he mensions as having a close relationship with. I think we could make a serious run at him. Will we? IDK but I do know Elway covets a premier QB and it doesn't get any better than Peyton.

Imagine what Peton could do with our supporting cast. Lets face it the colts gave him nothing, Denver offers a playoff caliber team who's weakest link is the passing game. Don't get me wrong, I love Tebow, but what better mentor to teach him the nuances of the passing game than one of the all time greats.

Flame away

Yea, I'm sure he'd love to come play with our 4-12 caliber "supporting cast." I mean we're only about 25 pieces away from being a Super Bowl team, what's not to like?!

Just a reality check here.

Colts with Peyton Manning - superbowl contender.
Colts without Peyton Manning - worst team in football.

Manning will instantly make any team a playoff team. Don't underestimate his impact on the entire team.

F it, if he can run the option I say we bring him in for a look.

Tebow will beat him out anyway so it's a pointless discussion

Problem there is they have a half-decent quarterback whose confidence would be destroyed by this move that could only be a short rental.

Patriots - Brady = 11-5

I have this sneaky feeling that Seattle will be the perfect landing place for Manning. They have shown they will spend, have a competitive team, and a head coach that would know how to use him. Of all the scenarios, Seattle just makes the most sense.

Yeah, but when we throw on 3rd down we'll have better than 45% chance it'll be completed

Wow...people throwing our OL, WR's, basically our entire team, and coaching staff under the bus cuz even the remote chance their hero might be replaced is driving them crazy.

No way we should look to upgrade the most important position on the team...

We wouldn't need to run the option if Manning signed with Broncos

No way does Manning ever become a Bronco, and no way would I want him with that neck injury. The chances of him not playing after the team unloads a boatload of picks and salary cap to get him is just too great.

I think he goes to a team who is one player away from the SB like the Jets. I dont see him in DC either, I really don't think Shanny's ego and Peyton's ego could co-exist.

...gtfo, moron.

If this was Manning 2 years ago EVERYONE would be lining up with hope.

...but it's not. This is the Manning who's career may be over for 20 million a pop who the Colts (who owe damn near their ENTIRE franchise to him) are about to show the door.

So save your lectures. You just look stupid. As usual.

That melon is hanging on by a fragile twig.

He is done, If the nerve(s) are still not regenerating by now he is going to face muscle atrophy not to mention the chronic pain. If he were smart he would consider his long term health and take his money and make commercials for a living.

I don't know many teams other than the raiders that would use up their 1st round picks on a 36 year old QB.

Hamrob

Ask Sterling Sharp what Peyton's chances are.

1. The Colts aren't going to give him away
2. We are a rebuilding team that needs its draft picks for young players
3. Even if we wanted him...why would he choose us over other teams...we are a 9-9 team

That being said, If Payton were 100% healthy (big if), then yes you would make a play for him....at least 20 teams would. He's in the top 5 of all time in my book...right there with Elway, Marino, Montana, and Brady.

If he's healthy....hell even if he's at 90% he's worth whatever we'd pay cuz he's light years better than Tebow ever could be.

Peyton wouldn't need the money, I suspect he would play because like Tebow, he's ultra competitive.....and would find it hard to walk away.

Why.. ?? If the Broncos have a 'budget' to sign free agents and draft picks.. according to EFX why would anyone think they would try and sign Manning as a free agent.

The only way this would happen if Payton Manning himself said he wanted to play for the Broncos and was willing to play for next to nothing.

Ain't going to happen.. no way.. no how.

Nice avv'y. I hope this is not the case, I'm sure pat is pulling in top 10 revenue, he needs to not be so tight or just sell the damn team!
