I'm not sure why people are upset by this. They frequently have active players as guest analysts.

Also, Tebow will probably say no because he will not want to lose time practicing.

Tebow is a star and this comes with him being a star. Just embrace it. Don't freak out.

He should respond with something along the lines of

"I have heard all year now from your current broadcast staff that I am not fit to even be on the field. I am positive you will be able to find someone much better at breaking down plays etc. than someone who "Will not win one game", "someone who will not win the division" or better yet "someone who will never win a playoff game".

I am honored that with all my glaring weaknesses you would still want me but maybe ask Charles Barkley?

God Bless

I'd rather see him spend a day at ESPN in Bristol. If not now, I'm sure they'll have him sometime during the off season. I can already think of some great skit ideas for those ESPN ads.

1. Tebow would be really bad at this, without a doubt. He's a guy that goes out of his way to make sure he doesn't say anything interesting.

2. It would be bad timing. We just got knocked out of the playoffs and he played poorly, and there's still some residual "should Tebow be the QB going forward?" discussion. Start showing up on national TV immediately and you're just deliberately adding to that.

Just buck up, take a month off, and then get back to work.

Everybody and their dog wants to have him on their show.
With his charity events, I'm sure he won't have the time to do 'em all this off-season.
He's just got over 6 months to get done what he needs to get done to successfully compete this year...

People always find something to complain about. I would rather him be a robot than a complete Dbag like every other jock made sports analyst these says...

When did that start by the way? Was it Charles Barkley that made that so popular?

Or was it Bill Walton?

Why go on CBS? All those guys have talked S#%& about Tebow. He should say, thanks but I'm going to Phillipines to build a children's hospital.

I heard on the light rail that he accepted an invite to watch this weekend's games from the Playboy mansion instead.

Hey.. I'm all for it.. Tebow should do these type of things now and get them out of the way. Go on the Tonight Show, do the banquet circuit.. go to the Philippines, get it all out of the way.

Then by the end of February, go out and hire the best QB coach out there and work his butt off till he can formally get together with the Broncos in April.

FIXED: I don't think practicing right away is a priority. Giving his body a rest would be one, though.

It'll be good for him to step out of the spot light for a bit.

Well that's easy dear. Now we are going to whine about, why didn't he take it? Why isn't be brave enough to go on an expose himself to a bunch of guys who were waiting with spears ready to torture him...Also, why couldn't he save CBS's ratings? Is his speechwork bad? Is his talking motion out of sync? Is he a great guest, but not an NFL Commentator? ;D

Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has turned down an offer to appear as a studio analyst on CBS' Sunday pregame show, the network told USA Today.

TEBOW TIME
Can't get enough Tebow? Then hang out here.
Tebow's decision was announced by CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus, who said the network "is perfectly fine with the lineup we have."

Reports over the past few days indicated the network had offered Tebow a spot on the show.

Over and out.

..or he could go directly to 'QB coach' and bypass the epic fail altogether.

He just declined the offer per cbs.com

Also this:

He said thanks, but no thanks to a request by CBS Sports to join their NFL Today studio show during their conference championship coverage Sunday.

"I'm not doing it," Tebow said.
