And to think there are people out there who literally HATE this guy. HATE him.

There is such a thing as good and evil. Right and wrong. People who HATE Tim Tebow.... I won't call them evil. I know too many of them.

But deep down inside they're in utter rebellion against that which, at their core, they know to be good.

How can you not like this guy? What better face of the franchise can you ask for?

I mean, as a football player off the field stuff doesn't matter if you don't win, but he DOES win.

We are very fortunate to have Tim Tebow as our starting QB.

Remember last week, when the world was pulling its hair out in the hour after Tebow had stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers) with an 80-yard OT touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13216/demaryius-thomas) in the playoffs? And Twitter was exploding with 9,420 tweets about Tebow per second? When an ESPN poll was naming him the most popular athlete in America?

Tebow was spending that hour talking to 16-year-old Bailey Knaub about her 73 surgeries so far and what TV shows she likes.

For Tim Tebow's take on being named America's most popular athlete, click here (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7456341/tim-tebow-denver-broncos-humble-topping-espn-sports-poll).

"Here he'd just played the game of his life," recalls Bailey's mother, Kathy, of Loveland, Colo., "and the first thing he does after his press conference is come find Bailey and ask, 'Did you get anything to eat?' He acted like what he'd just done wasn't anything, like it was all about Bailey."

More than that, Tebow kept corralling people into the room for Bailey to meet. Hey, Demaryius, come in here a minute. Hey, Mr. Elway. Hey, Coach Fox.

Even though sometimes-fatal Wegener's granulomatosis has left Bailey with only one lung, the attention took her breath away.

"It was the best day of my life," she emailed. "It was a bright star among very gloomy and difficult days. Tim Tebow gave me the greatest gift I could ever imagine. He gave me the strength for the future. I know now that I can face any obstacle placed in front of me. Tim taught me to never give up because at the end of the day, today might seem bleak but it can't rain forever and tomorrow is a new day, with new promises."

I read that email to Tebow and he was honestly floored.

"Why me? Why should I inspire her?" he said. "I just don't feel, I don't know, adequate. Really, hearing her story inspires me."Not gonna lie, that section had me near tears.

I think that he makes some people feel insecure.

I don't know if it's insecure so much as convicted. I feel convicted just reading stuff like that. I think maybe some of the people who have a hard time with Tebow (on a personal level) are the people who don't like to believe in things like feeling convicted. Since they're human, they feel it, whether they believe in it or not.

So some of them lash out. Blaming the person who makes them feel that way, when in reality it's their own guilt eating them.

Tebow is in a unique position to shine a light on the "right way" of conducting yourself, as a caring human being...

"Just the opposite," Tebow says. "It's by far the best thing I do to get myself ready. Here you are, about to play a game that the world says is the most important thing in the world. Win and they praise you. Lose and they crush you. And here I have a chance to talk to the coolest, most courageous people. It puts it all into perspective. The game doesn't really matter. I mean, I'll give 100 percent of my heart to win it, but in the end, the thing I most want to do is not win championships or make a lot of money, it's to invest in people's lives, to make a difference."

There are people doing that all over the country every day from every walk of life. I have met thousands of them. They toil in anonymity at their own financial (and more) expense, and expect nothing in return but the joy that God gives them internally. They serve millions of people with love and personal care expecting nothing in return.

You're right, Tebow is just in a unique position being highly visible. I guarantee you that those people I mentioned before absolutely love pulling for Tim because he's one of their own. He's being prayed for all over the country.

We have a lot of very high character guys on our team which makes this even more special. Toward the end of the Shanny era it seemed he was getting anyone he could to win, shady character or not. But now we are winning and having success with very high class people.

This is another article on Eddie Royal, while not getting a lot of stats and personal success still inspires people and does great things.

I like to think of Timmy a little bit in terms of Frodo. I think his exposure to missionary work from his youth shields him a little bit from the hedonistic mess being in the public spotlight usually is. But it's still gotta pull at him. There are plenty of good hearted servants out there who would get twisted or torn apart by the kind of fame Timmy's seeing right now. In that way, he is very special. But he's still vulnerable. So we should all pray for him, if we're so inclined anyway.

Absolutely. Frodo was a character that Tolkkien modeled to represent a humble Christian struggling with the pull of the sin of power. Tolkkien was intentional in making he and Samwise characters tantamount to small town people content to live a full spiritual and community life.

He probably stumbles every day. When he stumbles and the media catches it, they're going to roast him over a spit.

I watched Tebow Time 2011 on NFLN today. Just from the clips from the Houston game to now you can see ridiculously clear improvement.

Regardless of how this season turns out, next year should be fairly awesome.

Yep.

Another infusion of rookies, another infusion of free agents, and the return of Vickerson, Warrren, Decker, Moreno, etc.

Another camp/offseason for the youngsters (and the team is absolutely full of them) too.

This team is on the up and up.

When I'm not on probation over at Broncos Country (which is pitifully rarer than it should be), this is my sig picture. I made it myself over a year agoL

Your friend is represented on the left. The Tebow Nuts like me are represented on the right. The point is that eventually, Tebow wins over just about everybody. The chick on the left was that girl in Officer and a Gentlemen who was cynically, believed it could never happen for anybody, and she ends up crying and cheering in the end.

(Of course, Tebow is in the middle just scoring a touchdown, doing what he does).
