The NFL needs to do something about these tackles where defenders make no attempt to wrap someone to bring them down. These tackles where they turn themselves into missiles leads to a lot of badly missed tackles and also a lot of injuries. Is Goodell really worried about safety?

The Denver Broncos placed FB Spencer Larsen (knee) on the Injured Reserve Tuesday, Jan. 10. In corresponding moves, the team promoted WR D'Andre Goodwin to the active roster and signed free-agent WR Tim Toone (Bills) to their practice squad

After serving a two-year mission to West Africa for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Toone began a two-year college football career with the Weber State Wildcats.

Tim Tebow approves of this signing.

If Decker can't go by tomorrow they need to Decide whether he will by the next week or IR him. We don't have any other FBs, so let's not let let an active roster spot sit idle. We could bring Beal or some other defensive help up. Also we are a little thin at RB with McGahees injury problems lately.

I think Fox likes the Rosaro / Fells big line more. Esp against NE. IF Billicheat goes with a 3-4, Den will have a big size advantage with their front 7 against there's. And it's the two headed monster tailback approach Fox likes with McGahee and Tebow being Mr. Inside and Outside.

Bring back Lennie Friedman.

Yes, we signed a Muslim, Ryan Harris...
We have outspoken Christians in B-Dawk and Tebow.
Two mormons...

Anything else?

No wonder he went to Weber State... I'm pretty sure the hair goes against BYU regulations:

We could always use a TE as a lead blocker if we needed to. It would be nice to see them line a TE up at FB and use him in the flat but after McCoy found a way to confuse the Steelgirls secondary with Fell's routes down field I will defer to him.

I think you're right. And my recollection is they had someone lined up at FB on Sunday, and it was either Rosario or Fells. Regardless, they've used a two TE set often, and even moved Clady or Franklin over to the othe side, and put two TE's on the other to create mismatches, and they've even run it behind the two TE's on the "light side."

I suspect those who hate it when Fox goes run run run will be unhappy on Sat

I like Goodwin. Didn't he and Tebow connect for a TD in the preseason?

***I guess not. It wasn't Mark Dell either. It was that kid who another team signed off our practice squad...I can't remember his name? Goodwin did have 3 catches for 49yds against the Cowboys...I can't remember if it was Tebow or Quinn that hooked up with him.

We still have the Legacy of Lennie Friedman to cover us with the Hebrews. So few in the league you get carry over effect. The little known Hebrew Hangaround Effect.

The way Decker's knee bent inward when Harrison hit him, that would be an amazing comeback. No knee goes naturally anywhere near that far. Does IR even exist in the playoffs?

Preferably DBs. We need some players in the secondary that really have a nose for the ball.

There are plenty of Jews in pro football:

Drew Rosenhaus
Mark Steinberg
Mark Bartelstein
Leigh Steinberg
Daniel Snyder

Oh wait, we're talking about players...

I thought Denver did that against the Steelers.. used 3 TEs, 2 blocking and one as a blocking FB. I could have sworn I read that somewhere, the Broncos wanted to get bigger against the Steelers front line.

West Africa...wow tough mission...teaching english and math, digging wells, and playing futbol with the Afrikaans...sounds like a perfect fit. So how are his blocking and return skills?
