Righties I though that racism no longer existed?
Gingrich singles out blacks in food stamp remark
Just days after Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum took heat for singling out blacks on entitlement reform, Newt Gingrich called out the African-American community for being dependent on food stamps -- despite the fact that blacks make up less than one third of recipients in the food stamp program.
Gingrich, during an appearance in Plymouth, New Hampshire, spoke about remarks he would theoretically make if invited to speak to the NAACP.
"I'm prepared, if the NAACP invites me, I'll go to their convention and talk about why the African American community should demand paychecks and not be satisfied with food stamps," Gingrich said.
The use of food stamps in America has continued to climb in recent years, and hit an all-time high of nearly 45 million in 2011.
According to U.S. Census Bureau, about 28 percent of households that receive food stamps are African American, while 59 percent are white. According to the same report, about 78 percent of American households are white, while about 12 percent are black. (The overall population is 72.4 percent white and 12.6 percent black.)

And here is your new poster boy Santorum.
Santorum targets blacks in entitlement reform
At a campaign stop in Sioux City, Iowa on Sunday, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum singled out blacks as being recipients of assistance through federal benefit programs, telling a mostly-white audience he doesn't want to "make black people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money."
CBS News found that of the people on food stamps in Iowa, only nine percent are black and 84 percent are white.

Late last week, Kansas Speaker of the House, Mike O'Neil, 'apologized' for forwarding a pair of emails that, in turn, called for the death of President Obama and then referred to the First Lady as 'YoMoma.'

Seems like folks are looking very hard for examples to fit the pre-constructed Mad-Libs narrative. While Obama can get away with the statements he has made, and his former pastor, Rev. Wright.
According to U.S. Census Bureau, about 28 percent of households that receive food stamps are African American, while 59 percent are white. According to the same report, about 78 percent of American households are white, while about 12 percent are black. (The overall population is 72.4 percent white and 12.6 percent black.)

Just so we understand the math here -- is the statement above then stating that 12.6% of African-Americans using 28% of the total amount of food stamps in America? I imagine I am not allowed to even ask the question?
If African-Americans are using a higher percentage of welfare, then fine. If that is true -- fix the problem. If that is not true -- and white folks are too dependent, than that too needs to be fixed. Or maybe, just maybe we have allowed ourselves to become to dependent on Big B.
I have five kids, I not rich, I give a decent % of my gross income to help others out --not because Big Brother tells me to, but because its the right thing to do. When giving is done because you want to --not because government tells you that you must and then filtered through a wasteful government one can do more good, and foster greater indpendence, not dependence.

Gotta like the way sociopathic sh*t stains like you always try to shift the blame back onto anyone who calls you and/or your party's presidential candidates on their racist remarks.

Heh, Democrats have gone on record with this:
“I do not regard the Negro as my equal, and positively deny that he is my brother, or any kin to me whatever”;
and this:
“This is a country for white men, and by God, as long as I am President, it shall be a government of white men”
and the GOP is racist. MM-kay.

I think that some folks have to make everything about race, and do so to discourage free speech, or any speech that differs from the party line. It's a pretty typical, tired tactic from those who hate freedom, and who would rather get people to shut up then have a reasonable discussion about different points of view.

Saying blacks should demand paychecks and not food stamps is racist? Only an idiot would leap to that one. So no one can say anything about food stamps then since there may be Asians receiving them somewhere, as well as the Irish, and whatever labeled group liberals love to single out and keep people in. This daily PC crap gets old and racism once again only matters to liberals when it somehow helps them politically. Otherwise, they don't care. Besides, it is the liberals who play this "redneck" crap with anyone that doesn't share their views, which is reverse racism and they don't have a problem doing that.

Regardless of who was willing to report what many in the media did not want to report on, you obviously have not heard the actual words of those sermons. If you have heard his words by him and in context, I like to believe that even you would find them disturbing. I think acusations of racism can be used to shut folks up, and can be done in manipulative ways. I get it. But in the case of James Cone and rev, Wright, the semons I listened to could not be excused by any group except the Black Panthers. If the words were spoken by some white guy (in reverse) about blacks, he would be wearing a hood, and rightly he should be imediately disavowed. It took Obama quite some time before distancing himself.
I dont think you are being intellectually honest here.
