Big kudos to the team! I've been a bit hard on Tebow, and I feel he deserves it, but the entire team, and especially the defense, deserves huge credit for not cashing this season in after a horrible start. We are in the playoffs. Who woulda thunkit?

Fox put the breaks on the passing game today until he abanduned the run.

We can't wait till we abandun the run to unleash the Tebow in the playoffs.

Playoffs are no place for one dimensional offenses that run it three times the amount they pass it.

Now if only the forward pass was illegal we would be set.

Unfortunatley we will face teams that can use WRs that can actually get separation in the secondary to continue drives.

Oh and Kudos to the team for not giving up 2nd qtr points today.

They backed into the playoffs, but I'll take it anyway, but they will do good to make it close next week no matter whom they play. Injuries, bad playcalling, no confidence in the QB, receivers who do not run good routes, and a defense that has lost its pass rush.

Worst points for the offense score since 1971. Many dont feel good because of not going 8-8 but getting worse the last 3 games. I like our 4 game improvement from last season but the ending was horrific and scared what will become of us this next weekend. Not sure how. Steelers were a pretty good team this year and won a ton of games. Broncos won 8 and lost the last 3. Steelers fans are not afraid of this game. Broncos fans are scared of their opponent in the first round. You sure you are having trouble separating the two? God Almighty you are like a little kid thinking Santa is coming tomorrow. Not me or anyone has stated we are no longer Broncos fans, we are just not happy with the ending of the season and the opponent is tough. Doesn't make it any less of us to watch it. We will but we are SCARED of the outcome. Scared doesn't mean a heart attack or pee our pants. Just simply means we don't feel we have much of a chance. We watch for that small chance of victory. Now stop being the decider of who is a fan and go sit down and behave. Santa knows you were a good boy and he will come for you. Drama Llama, you remind me of Popps or Tsiguy looking for the silver lining after horrible losses last year.

Yeah, now that there's a full body of work and the team made a 4-game improvement despite playing through injuries, the fact that the team didn't have an offseason to prepare, there was a coaching change, and that the team is severely talent-deprived and playing with a roster that is well under the minimum salary expenditure the league mandated...we can see that there are things to be pleased with.

The team has performed above expecations. Considerably above.

Look at the longview here.

Its good that the Broncos went 8-8. Its good that they made the playoffs.

This team is not devoid of talent. For arguments sake I'd say that if Rivers was the QB of this team it's easily a 13 win team.

Our safeties are a mess. Since Dawkins hurt his neck it has become apparent that Rahim Moore is an idiot and Quinton Carter can't cover anyone.

That personal foul on Moore against Buffalo was one of the most inexcusable things I have ever seen and one of the things I blame most for that loss.

Throw in that we have an aging #1 CB who is starting to get beat by the better WRs on a more regular basis and on the other side is the human 15 yard gain in Andre Goodman. I like Harris but I don't think I would want him in any bigger role than that of a nickel back.

While I agree that a QB like Rivers would surely improve this team it's not like there's a lot lot of Philip Rivers' out there and definitely not where Denver will be picking in the first round now that Denver has won so many games. And even still the secondary will still get battered beyond belief by the elite passing teams they would go up against in the postseason.

Epic/Drama Llama, I am happy we are in the playoffs even if we had to back in. Everything you said is true. Only problem is that you are comparing to last season when many are comparing our team now to the team we will be facing. It isn't our fault the AFC West sucked balls this season. As stated, most are afraid that we have become worse as a team the last 3 weeks. THis is our lowest scoring output since 1971! I could be happy about playing next week and at the same time be worried about the game.

This team is absolutely devoid of talent. There's one good secondary player, one good linebacker and another who is good on occasion (DJ), there is one good end, one slightly above average DT.

There is one good guard, one decent tackle, one good WR, a developmental QB, and a one-legged RB.

The punter and kicker are probably better at their respective positions than anyone else on the roster.

Please, we are light years behind SD in the WR and TE departments. Our 'top' two receivers combined for less than 400 yards last year. That's about 25% of Brandon Lloyd's output last year. For the both of them combined.

I know DT was hurt and everything. But the fact is there is not one proven weapon on this offense other than Willis McGahee. And he has a tough time staying in games.

Not saying they can't grow into good players. But Tebow isn't the only problem on the field.

If, during pre-season, somebody gave us the option of backing into the playoffs but in order to do so we'd have to endure three of the most unwatchable games in recent memory... would you have taken it? Abso-freaking-lutely is the answer for every Bronco fan out there.

You don't have to be excited about how the team is playing, but you should be excited about the big picture. We have many problems, many holes to fill, and hopefully all of them will start to be addressed starting with the draft... but as of RIGHT NOW, our only problem is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, that's bull****. I'm sure Phillip Rivers leading the chargers would have caused their fans to predict a 13 win season before 2011 kicked off. Where are they now? I am still in wait and see mode with a bunch of aspects on this team but the delicate chemistry that developed between this defense and the #1 rated rushing game caused us to click over the span 7-1 streak when we took control of the AFC West which led to the cushion that eventually won it for us.

Denver fans shouldn't apologize for winning the division. Our squad did what it had to do. We beat all three rivals at their house in the middle of the season. Knocked off a couple of other playoff caliber teams to give us H2H/Conference tie-breakers. We drafted 2nd last year and to come this far is an accomplishment.

Bring on Pittsburgh. We won't be favored but I think we have better talent than Cleveland does and the Steelers barely beat them. Now they will be playing without Mendenhall which is a huge blow for them. Record is 0-0 now, anything can happen.

Lots of improvements to be made, but we're in dang it, we're in. I'd also like to look at it that our team played well enough after a 1-4 start that we could still lose our last three games and make it in. It wasn't pretty, Sunday might not be either, but ask yourself this. After losing to San Diego in week 5 did we think we were even going to make it this far? So who cares how we did it, we did it! After last season I'd hardly call any of these recent games unwatchable. At least we were competitive to a point(3rd Q pats, 2nd half Bills, 4th Q Chiefs). It might not be pretty but there were games last year where the affair was out of hand by the end of the 1st quarter. I have faith that this current team would never allow the Raiders to drop a points record on them.

the way the Broncos are playing now there's no way the Broncos beat the stellers. The stellers actually have a good defense. They'll have Troy Palomalu shadow Tebow all game and Tebow won't run anywhere.

If the Broncos can't pass the ball they are finished against pittsburgh. McCoy's game plan better come up with something more than run, run, run, punt.

The Chargers are not devoid of talent. How many games did they win?

How many games do you think this team wins if Brees is the QB? You still think it's a 8-8 team then?

Point is a good QB makes this team a lot better. All I know is that if these last 3 games are any indication of the future of this team then the Broncos might as well draft a QB in the first round now.

New England lit this team up. Buffalo lit this team up. A crappy, bad chefs team with a lousy QB beat this team at home.

Are we talking 2001-2003 Drew Brees? That guy didn't win anything other than a draft choice high enough to draft his replacement and a ticket out of town.

Or are we again comparing our guy with less than a season's worth of games to a seasoned 10-year probowler?

After last season I'd hardly call any of these recent games unwatchable. At least we were competitive to a point(3rd Q pats, 2nd half Bills, 4th Q Chiefs). It might not be pretty but there were games last year where the affair was out of hand by the end of the 1st quarter. I have faith that this current team would never allow the Raiders to drop a points record on them.

Thanks for your input.
