I think we can beat the steelers.............. as crazy as it sounds.

I hate tebow.... think he is garbage.......... think the offense is garbage.......

but big ben is not even close to 100%, mendenhal just went out with an injury today......... this could be one of those 10-7 type games.

IMO, everyone in the media is going to trash Tebow and Denver this week and because of all the criticism and claims that they don't belong in the playoffs, the Broncos will put up a good game against the steelers and win.

I know it sounds crazy the way they are playing right now, but I sense that it's going to be one of those situations

Truly, how many of you are proud of 3 straight TERRIBLE losses and an 8-8 record backing into the playoffs without even sniffing the end zone against a bad chefs team? Any celebration of "winning" a division title and "getting" into the playoffs is just plain huberous!

You'd better hope that Ben is playing on his ass cos both legs are ****ed. Even then I reckon he'll still find a hole between our safeties, that or their D will return a few turnovers for 6.

As Popps pointed out earlier, the Steelers struggled mightily against the Browns today. Now granted, we don't have a beast like Hillis that can make life miserable for the other team, but still, it was a positive sign. We've got a shot, lets just make the most of it.

They were also kinda playing it safe to ensure their guys got through the game without serious injuries. I have strange feeling they didn't think they were winning the AFCN and decide to prepare for the Wildcard round early.

I'm not very optimistic about Pittsburgh coming to town. The pass rush hasn't seemed to be as explosive the past few weeks and we're going to need them to come through for us to have any chance at all.

I actually agree. Ben is hurt and their offense is struggling. Steelers have a good D, but even an average defense could shut us down right now. I think it's low scoring and a close game.

It isnt as crazy as you thinking McDaniels was a good coach. But at least your spirit is there. Broncos are going to go up against a way better defense than the Chiefs. This game plan we throw out has not been working and I don't know what can be done in one week. You have the score as 10-7 and assuming we are the 10. What makes you think we can score even the loser points of 7? We need a few turnovers and score 7 on each of them.

If fox and Mcoy dont mix things up the steelers if we play them will just do what the last two teams have done and that basically using a copy of the playbook which any team can see in any of our previous games.

Has anybody seen any variations or any attempts to fool opposing defenses? now i am not making excuses for tebow cause he screwed all kinds of stuff up today but damn we run the same stuff every series no wonder Ds can exploit it. I thought the idea was to get the other D to guess and guess wrong mCcoy is playing a shell game with clear cups its comical.

Did you mean:

A) hu·mor·ous
[hyoo-mer-uhs or, often, yoo-]
adjective
1.
characterized by humor; funny; comical

B) hu·mer·us
[hyoo-mer-uhs or, often, yoo-]
noun, plural -mer·i  [-muh-rahy] Anatomy .
1.
the long bone in the arm of humans extending from the shoulder to the elbow.

C) hu·bris
[hyoo-bris, hoo-]
noun
excessive pride or self-confidence; arrogance.

None of those really fit, but I couldn't find huberous anywhere.

Totally certifiable, as much as I would have loved to see Timmy boy do his "thing", it ended up an embarassement. All this talk about "I think we have a shot because of Rothlesburger, etc etc. is insane. This was KYLE ORTON that beat them today folks, not Tom Brady. They need lots and lots of work before they are ready to represent the AFC West. I hate San Diego, but they are a far better team than we are right now.

The Steelers have a lot of options in the passing game and Denver does not have the athletes to cover all of them.

That means the pass rush is going to have to go back to how they looked against Jets and not the way they have the last 3 weeks.

The offense is what it is IMO.

For some reason I feel like we beat the Steelers.

I think McCoy and Fox finally get aggressive and it catches Pitt by surprise. For once we play like we have nothing to lose.

Its a long shot but i hope your right but seeing McCoy and Fox be pretty stubborn on adding anything new this season is highly unlikely i really don't think they trust tebow with anymore responsibilities.

Very true. It's not like if they came out with some crazy game plan (I know, mixing up passes and runs is CRAZY) the fan base would say "BUT OUR OFFENSE WAS WORKING SO WELL WE WERE AVERAGING 14 POINTS A GAME THE LAST 4 GAMES."

Actually, with some of the revisionist historians I've seen here over the past few years, that's probably exactly what some would say.

They kind of let Tebow try and throw his way out of things in the second half of the Pats game and we all know how that turned out...

And the Pats pass defense is absolutely porous in comparison to that of Pittsburgh.

Good Points. We must stop the run and be able to pressure consistently. We must be able to run the ball to keep the D off the field. It all starts here. The failure to do any of those items will not keep us in the game. Then it comes down to Tebow being able to effectively throw the ball to win. Fairly straight forward. We are too thin to win without all phases not being effective.
