He was my favorite up-and-coming player from that era. I was so distraught and pissed off when I heard about his death. The guy reminded me of Darrien Gordon.

RIP Darrent Williams. You are still missed.

So what ever happened to the human filth that gunned him down?

I remember reading that the perp had a record a mile long and that for some reason, his car (or his GF's car) wasn't impounded in the weeks leading up to the murder. It was hard to keep up with the case out here in the Pacific Northwest, but I remember thinking that the entire system played a role in Darrent's death.

It's scary how fast time flies.

I was so upset that we lost, I didn't even go out for new years eve. I turn on the tv early that morning and the first thing I see was a picture of D-Will and the years of his birth and death. I couldn't hardly comprehend it at first. Definitely put things in perspective for me.

I hope his kid and family are doing well.

RIP 27

I will never forget the tears I shed watching the funeral, or the pride I felt as a broncos fan seeing how they honored him and his mother that day!

on a side note, even though he left on a down note, i hope Javon Walker has started to get past DWill's death, because that poor guy's life just went to **** following the murder.

Shout out to DWill's family. I had many of them as students and saw their pain. More than we could imagine as just fans. I still have thee funeral program they gave me. It sits in my office. I could scan it if anyone is interested. It's a great tribute.

Ill never forget that day. As upset as I was for the loss against the 49ers, the morning was considerably worse.

Yep, it was surreal, but not in a good way. A very bad couple of days for broncos fans.

I still miss DWill. He just brought great joy to the team. I remember he even forced Shanahan to crack up a few times.

Can't believe its been 5 years, I remember that day like yesterday, I was only 2 blocks from the shooting enjoying my night. Driving past that white hummer limo the next morning on my way home was surreal. RIP DWill Never forgotten.
