Since Orange will be the primary, will that blue strip going up the side be orange?

Edit: On the road jerseys

With Tebow as a starter, here is the Broncos record for each uniform combination:

Blue/White pants = 1-0
Orange/White pants = 0-1
Blue/blue pants = 3-2
White/White pants = 4-2

Perhaps they should wear the Blue/White pants or the road unis at home this week.

Nope. They're just swapping the home and alternate designations on the jerseys. They're not making any actual changes to the designs. (So the current alternate (orange) jersey becomes the home jersey, while the blue jersey becomes the alternate).

Home team gets to pick their color and visitors basically have to do the opposite. Home teams usually pick the 'colored' versions of their uniforms for home games, forcing visitors to normally wear white. Some teams like to wear white at home though which leads to the visitors wearing their normal home colors. Dolphins wear white at home. We wore our home blues in Miami because of this.

yeah, we should just pull a san fran/san diego and go back to the 80's look entirely. the blue isn't bad, and the orange isn't bad either, but the 80's is just better. and if you're going orange anyway it might as well be the orange everyone knows. also no one talks about the helmet: the current helmet sucks. and it sucks even worse when paired with the orange.

I'm not as much concerned with what uniform they wear as I am with who's wearing the uniforms.

Part of the reason many fans like to follow sports is because of jerseys and team colors (all sports, not just football). Many fans identify with those colors more positively because of their favorite team. I don't understand why some people will criticize others for having a discussion about uniforms and colors.

Having a uniform/jersey/color preference is certainly not a perquisite for identifying with a favorite team, but I don't see the logic in discouraging fans for having a jersey/color preference.

i am honestly surprised that NIKE and the NFL haven't begun doing the changed up uniforms for the teams in an effort to drive up jersey sales even more.

Surprisingly, those UTEP unis are pretty nice...

Now that we're going to orange for our primary jerseys, I'm pretty happy with our uniforms, overall. I'm also a big fan of the blue-on-blue, and the road whites are pretty nice. There are a million different color combinations/variations we could come up with, and I have my preferences just like everyone else, but the one thing I wish we could change is the god-awful stripes on our jerseys and pants...

Thats because Phil Knight is an Oregon Alum...and so he gives the university all the unis and stuff for free, as long as they have the swoosh on them somewhere. It doesn't hurt that the company HQ is about 90 miles from Eugene. The ducks trot out about 5-6 different Unis every year. Kevlar helmets, Steel plate embossing, and now wings on the Shoulder pads for a bowl game.
