Just made it to ESPN :You know how to Tebow. But how does one go about Ortoning? Ryan Parker fills us in on the next big craze just in time for this weekend's Tim Tebow-Kyle Orton (a.k.a. Chiefs-Broncos) showdown.

1. ortoning : To sit and mope while others do better than you

During the last Broncos game, everyone was #tebowing except Kyle Orton. He was #ortoning.

First there was planking, then there was Tebowing,
Added to the list of fads the Internet's been growing,
Inspired by Tebow's prayer, it's frequency increased,
But what about the player the Broncos released,

Ortoning is looking really sad,
Ortoning is when you realize that you are bad,
Ortoning is watching someone new,
Doing something better than you,

First there was Chicago, Kyle Orton didn't win,
Then there was his time spent Ortoning with Brady Quinn,
Inspired by uninspiring play and looking like a clown,
It's a fact that Ortoning is best done sitting down,

Ortoning is looking really sad,
Ortoning is when you realize that you are bad,
Ortoning is watching someone new,
Doing something better than you,

There have been a lot of players who have Ortoned over time,
Some blame it on an injury or their offensive line,
There have been a lot players who have faced a lot of strife,
But really you can Orton in any walk of life,

Ortoning is looking really sad,
Ortoning is when you realize that you are bad,
Ortoning is watching someone new,
Doing something better than you,
Ortoning is watching someone new,
Doing something better than you

Video: Ortoning is the few fad

You knew it would only be a matter a time before Tebowing became passe and something else would take its place.

Singer-songwriter Ryan Parker writes a ditty about Ortoning just in time for the Chiefs-Broncos game on Sunday.

Ortoning is looking really sad,

Ortoning is when you realize that you are bad,

Ortoning is watching someone new,

Doing something better than you,

We at Game On! are huge Kyle Orton fans so the message seems off to us but of course we are also huge Ryan Parker fans and applaud his talent.

It was funny ....but not 100% factually accurate.

Orton was 21-12 as Bears starting QB, and won a division title..which is the exact opposite of his record in Denver

It probably has something to do with a solid defense in Chicago...

So that means Orton at one point was 27-12
That is before losing the best Tackle Tandem in the league.
There is a reason why Clady is in the Pro Bowl.
Having the No.1 rushing offense doesn't hurt either. But I digress.

What Orton ought we to expect,

The 27-12 Orton

Or Orton @ 6-21?

http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr59/getlynched47/shrug.jpg

Orton is one game away from emerging as either or.
Only one hurdle left, Broncos defense.

Biggest game of his life?

I expect nothing less than a Peyton Manning like choke,
Unless Fox pulls back the reigns on DooMillerVille
Like he did with NE and Detroit at home.
Another pay back from Elway putting the breaks on Tebowmania?

Elway has the key to the game, another wreck waiting to happen,
or does he finally turn the keys over and Unleash Tim Tebow?

I am so sick of watching Elway do burnouts,
I mean slamming the breaks on the passing game
With the throttle to the floor on the rushing attack?
Is it no wonder we had blowouts the past two games?

People get fired for wrecklessly driving a Billion Dollar vehicle.
Then there's the espianage of waiving a QB who went 27-12,
before Broncos overhaul sent him crashlanding into a 6-21 field.
Orton to start for the 2010 Division Champs?
At the point when the play-off picture emerged as Cassel fell?
Who jettisons a back up QB of that caliber heading into the play-offs?
@ the point the Bears lost Cutler too?
Just to save a couple mil? Chiefs may as well paid Elway off that 2.5 Mil.
Broncos barely got passed Chicago with a back up QB.
How much do we miss Lloyd and the 100+ passes carved out of Tebows game?

Elways lenses are clearly not fixed towards the best interest of this team.

It probably has something to do with a solid defense in Chicago...

Solid really outstanding as in the #1 defense in the league 12 ppg
and the #8th ranked running game. Really any QB (even Tebow) can manage a game with the best defense and a top 10 running game.

Thier offense was 26th in the league. That is called managing the game

Teams don't trade 2 #1s , a 3rd and the QB if there isn't a problem

I thought wins didn't count unless the QB has great stats? Oh, those are the Tebow Rules. Sorry.

No all wins count regardless.. but once again you bring up kyle's good w-l record prior to problems in denver, and he gets no credit. but when the broncos win 6 straight it was all tim tebow's doing... with very little help if any from his team, or coaches, or bad luck/decisions by opponents

I'd like to point out how different the situations were.

Orton played on a Chicago team with a dominant defense. They were winning games solely due to their defensive play. When Orton was replaced by Grossman, the Bears didn't miss a beat. The Bears made the Superbowl when Orton was replaced. The quarterback position had very little effect on the outcome of games for the Bears (see Cardinals game and Dennis Green rant after it). Grossman outperformed Orton. How bad do you have to be to lose your starting job to Rex Grossman when you have a winning record?

Tebow took over the exact same team that Orton was playing with. Orton was 1-4, Tebow has now gone 7-3 with that same team Orton had. The only position change on the team was QB.

Regardless though, I have not seen one Broncos fan (ie. not broncobow or macgruder) say that all of the wins are only due to Tebow. This is a team sport, win as a team, lose as a team. The team has played better since Tebow took over. Tebow inspired the team to play well, and has the Broncos one game out of the playoffs.

All I've seen you post in the past few days is garbage. No one cares that you don't like Tebow. If you continue to post stupid things, people will continue to call you out on it.

Remember, the Bears made it to the SB with an equally inept QB in Rex Grossman, that alone shoots your Orton is a winner label out of the water...

Orton in 2005

190 368 51.6 1869 9 TDs 13 INTs.

Tebow in 2011

120 250 48.0 1669 12/8 (20) TDs 6 INTs.

Laugh all you want at Tebow's stats but they were better than Orton's 2005 stats. Twice as many TDs and half the INTs. Better ypa and on pace for same yardage

Since giving Tebow all the credit was not such a rampant thing, the bigger question is why any of that bothers you so much? You are still in the Kyle Orton fan club or something? Like, who cares about Orton did anymore?
