Congrats to one of our best free agent signings from this offseason in becoming the first back to rush for 1000 yards in Denver in the last 5 years. From a team who used to produce 1000 yard backs for fun it's nice to have a player around that level once again and if not for the injuries he could have accomplished a lot more this season.

Wow didn't even realize that.

On a side note, I guess since Shanny is gone I guess we can't say "I bet he can break 2000 in our system."

He needs to play complete game next week..Without him, we are weak in rushing department.

Let us know when the coachbing staff is going to unleash him for us to find out. We need MacGahee to be healthy and play the entire game.

This is why having another RB would also help McGahee be more fresher towards the end of the season. Guys like Ball and Johnson are not legit answers for that spot and Moreno is more a pass receiver, whom the Broncos will probably try to trade for a low pick since he isn't a power runner that Fox seems to like.

he'd have 300 yards without tebow

Eh, not entirely true. The running game really opened up after the switch at QB, but mcgahee was still quite productive before then topping 100 yards against cincy, green bay, and SD

I love what Mcgahee has brought to this team. That's why it is even more important that we find a younger version of him next year. No insult intended. He has been terrific, however, we need another younger version of him to build for the future.

We need a patient, power back that reads his blocks well, then powers forward for 4-6 yards in traffic. We could build a dangerous team with a younger, healthier back. Right after that, we need an exploosive, pass catching Tight End. Tebow needs to settle for more dumps and crossing routes, rather than always looking deep.

Oh, no doubt. McG is the man but this O has put a lot of miles on him and I don't think there are many RBs out there who wouldn't be a little gassed by this point in the season. We need a solid #2 to tote the rock about 15 times a game in addition to McG's load. It is a load.

I think JJ is a better change of pace back than Ball but, yeah, McG is the catalyst for this O and that has become clear. I want to keep it that way going forward so this org needs to get that 1B type RB that is starter quality on most teams to spell McG. In the meantime I am over seeing Ball for a bit and wouldn't mind JJ getting the bulk of the #2 carries.

We need a solid #1 so that McGahee doesn't have to be counted on, but can contribute when he's healthy.

Ray Rice for 2012.

Its about time. It's been a while. Tatum did in 06. Moreno was close in 09. Glad McGahee got his 1000.

Congrats. I appreciate McGahee, wish he could stay healthy. At 31 I think his healthy years are behind him.

No chance this happens. It would be awesome of course.
