Saturday Night Live" reportedly wants Tim Tebow to host a show after the football season ends, according to Hollywood Life.

Though the show starts at 11:30 p.m., but viewers would probably have to wait until about 12:15 for Tebow to do anything funny.

If you don't get that joke, you don't like football. So just quit reading now.

A Hollywood Life source says "'SNL' realizes it would be huge ratings and they are hoping he will say yes. Tim just can't and won't be able to do it while the season is still in play."

That's some serious Hollywood insight right there.

"SNL" aired a controversial sketch last weekend that poked fun at Tebow's Broncos, his religious fervor, and the stark contrast at how he begins games (poorly) and finishes them (very well). The sketch featured Jesus appearing in the Denver locker room, asking the team to step it up so he wouldn't have to keep bailing them out at the end of games. Not surprisingly, the show was criticized by the Christian Right movement.

Tebow would join Joe Montana, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady among NFL quarterbacks who have hosted the show

Don't do it, Timmy. Just hop a plane to the Philippines with every snap you took in 2011 on a DVD player and a buddy pass for DT88.

This is from a legitimate newspaper yet the grammar is so effed up in that "article" that Mr. Hicks should consider going back to school.

Nothing will be decided on this until after the season. If Tebow's putting off spending Christmas with his family so he can focus on his job, SNL's certainly going to have to wait.

doubtful. Tebow is smart enough to know that SNL wants to make him the butt of the joke. SNL has been irrelevant for decades. they are the KC Chefs of TV shows.

Doubtful thats how it would happen. He's so popular that he would boost their ratings and that's why they'd want him. They'd tailor their skits around his preferences.

PFT already reported last week he'd turned it down.
