When was this guy released, or was he a FA and denver just didnt sign him again? PFF has him as best center in the NFL this year.

We traded him to the Texans in 2008. He is currently in the last year of the 4 year deal he signed with them after the trade.

They tendered him at the lowest level and the Texans signed him. We got 6 round pick back for him.

he's small....I'd rather go with Walton and upgrade the LG spot.

I agree. I really like the idea of Cordy Glenn (UGA, 6-5 348) being drafted and competing for the LG spot. Glenn has been playing LT for Georgia so he could also compete for that RT spot and kick Franklin inside.

Glenn's good but I'd like to bring in some veteran OG/OT to the team. There are quite a few good ones and the Broncos can focus draft picks on RB, DL, LB, DS help.

See I prefer to draft one because a starting quality FA OG/OT is going to be expensive. Unless we get Grubbs or Nicks, it better to go young and under control then wasting dollars.

I agree but it takes time with OL (something everyone forgets). If you can get a good OL at good value, then I am for it BUT I'd really like to see Grubbs in Denver.

I'd rather have DeCastro. I'd actually rather have Zeitler too.

I have strange feeling DeCastro will be gone before we pick (selected in the mid to late teens) and Zeitler, I think he will be sitting there in the 3rd round. Glenn could be the #2 guard in the draft after DeCastro depending on his workout in Indy.

Walton will continue to get better and grow as well. He'll get stronger each year, and hes nasty.

I'll stick with him.

On a somewhat related note, we get to see our old friend Erik Pears tomorrow.
