I heard him earlier today. What country is he from and did MNF/ESPN hiring anyone these days? I need a kickass job and will do it for 1/2 the pay.
I was going to make a thread on this Euro(?) this afternoon when they were doing MNF previews. WTF? By the way, I will now watch the video and I am sure it is exactly what I heard earlier today.

Yep, it is Jackie Stewart from the old Indy car racing. Same voice. How in the hell did he get this gig?

See 5:00 mark for Jackie Stewart, same dude?

I think his bomb-vest is constricting his speech

This guy is meme-worthy.

There was a segment after the lights came on where they went to "Sutcliff" and I was half paying attention, but I was full-on befuddled by the time the booth crew cut him short and turned off his mic.

Im wondering if they put him in there just because hes so ridiculous and will turn into an internet amusement.

Epic, is he a soccer dude? He has to be and you would be the perfect person to ask that. I bet he is only 5 foot 2 inches....on tippy toes.

At least we know that one Munchkin is still alive. I did find out he does ESPN deportes and that includes football and soccer. So did ESPN give him his last name to sound American?

I have never heard of the guy before.

yeah, don't they know that in America if you don't sound like I want you to sound you shouldn't be allowed to get a job!??!?!!?!??!

This thread is full of ignorance.

Apparently he's got the same name as two early 20th century soccer players. Coincidence? I think not...

He is the sideline reporter for ESPN Deportes in Mexico - he sounds just as retarded in Spanish, I assure you.

This thread is full of ignorance.

I know you are Hispanic so you think his voice translates good to American football? I actually thought he was European and maybe Spanish. Had no idea that he did soccer. With a name of "Sutcliffe" last thing I thought of was that he was Mexican. It isn't where he is from but his voice. Stop playing the race card again and just listen to him with your eyes closed. Does that really translate to English speaking for a sideline reporter? Plus, he looks and sounds like midget and I have no idea how tall he is. If it was some hick from Appalachian Mountains, I would still make fun of the guy.

This thread is full of ignorance.

Dont be so defensive, man.

A quirky, nerdy guy unaware of the social context of the broadcast is funny no matter what his background.
