He was inventing a new kind of "tebowing" called "maddening" which is an expression that is evoked when you watch the Raiders.

I was actually scouring images on the internet, trying to find it. I couldn't find anything, but it was great. At the times I was disgusted with the Broncos game, I would look over to the Lions-Raiders game. I just happened to watch at the right time...Ha!

Madden was most likely passed out. At least he didnt have to see the Faiders choke their chances at the playoffs.
